Democrats Say They're Reckoning With Biden's Role in 2024 Loss
Democratic US Senator Chris Murphy said Sunday that members of his party 'bear responsibility' for their loss to President Donald Trump because they ignored voters' concerns about Joe Biden's age.
'I admit that by 2024, the American public had made up their mind, right, that they wanted the Democratic Party to nominate somebody new, and it was absolutely a mistake for the party to not listen to those voters,' Murphy, of Connecticut, said.
