This year, the WBJEE exam was conducted on April 27 in pen and paper format across various centers across West Bengal. The exam was held in two shifts; Paper 1 (Mathematics) from 11 am to 1 pm and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) from 2 pm to 4 pm. The preliminary answer key was issued on May 9. Step 1: First, open the official website of WBJEEB, that is, Step 2: Then, go to the examination section on the homepage and click on the WBJEE option. Step 3: Scroll down and find the link WBJEE result 2025. Step 4: Fill in all the required details and then click on submit. Step 5: The result will be displayed on your screen. The WBJEE 2025 consisted of three categories of questions — Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3. The marking scheme is different for each category. For every right answer in Category 1, students will be given one mark. While one-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt. In Category 2, for every right answer, students will be rewarded two marks. Half a mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Similarly, in Category 3, two marks will be given for each right answer. There is no negative marking in this section. The WBJEE is conducted annually for students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and architecture courses at several Universities, Government colleges and institutes in West Bengal. Last year, 1,42,694 aspirants registered for the exam of which 99,574 passed. Kingshuk Patra had topped the exam.

WBJEE 2025 result may be delayed; last date to submit grievances is May 25 WBJEE 2025: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will close the objection window for WBJEE 2025 recorded responses tonight, May 25, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination are advised to review their response sheets and raise any claims or grievances through the official website — As per the official guidelines, candidates will be allowed to challenge individual responses by paying a fee of Rs 500 per response. The opportunity to submit objections is time-sensitive, and no further extensions will be provided. Only registered candidates with valid credentials can access the portal to view their recorded answers and file grievances. Response challenge window ends today The WBJEE 2025 response sheet objection facility was opened after the release of the answer key on May 9, 2025. Candidates were earlier allowed to challenge the provisional answer key until May 11, 2025. Following the review of these challenges by subject experts, a final answer key will be published by the board. The WBJEE 2025 results will be prepared based on this final key. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE OMR images and machine-read responses of candidates who appeared for the examination. Candidates can now log-in and view their OMRs and responses as are captured by machines.
