Pusha T Reflects on Severed Relationship With Ye: ‘I Don't Think He's a Man'

Pusha T severed ties with G.O.O.D. Music, where he served as the label's president and distanced himself from Ye (formerly Kanye West) in late 2022. King Push and his brother No Malice graced the cover of GQ on Monday (June 2), and Pusha reflected on his falling out with the embattled rapper, who has faced criticism for his repeated hate speech. More from Billboard A Timeline of the Consequences Ye Has Faced for His 'WLM' Shirts & Antisemitic Hate Speech Joe Jonas Reflects on Infamous 'South Park' Episode: 'I Was the Only Brother That Loved It' Peter Murphy Cancels 2025 Tour Dates Due To Ongoing 'Health Issues' 'The one thing that I can say about [Ye] is that he knows that every issue that he's having and crying about online right now, I've told him distinctly about those things,' Push said. 'He don't talk to me like he talks to others.' Pusha T took things a step further while disrespecting Ye and saying that he doesn't 'think he's a man' following his myriad controversies over the years. 'His intuition is even more genius-level, right? But that's why me and him don't get along, because he sees through my fakeness with him,' he continued. 'He knows I don't think he's a man. He knows it.' The Virginia rapper went on: 'And that's why we can't build with each other no more. That's why me and him don't click, because he knows what I really, really think of him. He's showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people.' Billboard has reached out to Ye's rep for comment. Pusha T and No Malice kicked off the Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out rollout on Friday (May 30) with 'Ace Trumpets,' which finds Push name-dropping Yeezy. 'Sold ecstasy and disappeared, I am Whodini/ Look at them, him and him, still waitin' on Yeezy/ I hope you got your squeegees/ At your interviews, I just ki-ki,' he raps. Ye got wind of Pusha's bars and expressed that he misses the friendship they once had. 'I miss me and Pusha's friendship,' West wrote of his ex-G.O.O.D. Music president to X. While Yeezy won't be appearing on Let God Sort Em Out come the July 11 release date, Push confirmed that Kendrick Lamar is slated to be featured on the album track 'Chains & Whips.' However, Lamar's assist was at the center of Clipse's rift with Def Jam, as the Universal Music Group-owned label wanted K. Dot's verse removed from the project. Push stood firm in keeping the Compton rapper on the album, which led to a split with Def Jam for the duo as well as Pusha's solo career. LGSEO will now be distributed by Roc Nation. 'They wanted me to ask Kendrick to censor his verse, which of course I was never doing,' he said. 'And then they wanted me to take the record off. And so, after a month of not doing it, Steve Gawley, the lawyer over there was like, 'We'll just drop the Clipse.' But that can't work because I'm still there [solo]. But [if] you let us all go.' Billboard has reached out to Def Jam for comment. From grief to purpose: Widow builds a supportive community in Mbombela

Widows' Lives Matter (WLM) hosted a group of widows to celebrate Mother's Day in style at Ndalo Lodge on Saturday, May 17. WLM, an NGO that was founded by Sibongile Sithole (herself a widow), is instrumental in addressing challenges that widows often face after the death of their husbands. During the event, representatives of Matsilele Attorneys taught the ladies a few legal tricks that are important for any woman who lost a husband to know. 'These included information regarding legal routes when dealing with wills, estates and other important aspects relating to the rights of widows. Most often, the challenges they face are due to a lack of knowledge,' said Sithole. When Sithole lost her husband, Samuel, more than a decade ago on Valentine's Day, she never expected she have to go through an ordeal that would prevent her from even burying the man she so dearly loved. ALSO READ: Long-awaited repairs to White River Library finally begin She said that accusations were made after her husband's death, some of which came from relatives and her in-laws, which caused their relationship to sour. 'I went through a lot after the death of my husband. I did not get support from anyone, including my in-laws; only nasty, unfounded accusations that even prevented me from attending his funeral,' said Sithole. She thought deeply and conducted research that made her realise that many other widows experienced all sorts of challenges without any shoulder to lean on. This is what made her decide to start the NGO. The women who attended the Mother's Day event told this publication that they had enjoyed themselves to the fullest during the function. 'The event was well organised. I enjoyed the food as well as the sleepover. It was soothing to have such an outing where we learnt a lot regarding challenges that we face as widows,' said one of the women, Thembi Dube. Langutane Matsilele, a director at Matsilele Attorneys, said he taught the women about types of marriages and the importance of wills. 'Wills are very important because the distribution of assets is done according to the wishes that are stipulated in one's wills,' said Matsilele. Gladys Pule, also known as Make Pule to her listeners on Ligwalagwala FM, was the motivational speaker of the day. 'As widows we need to be assertive and stand our ground so that our voices can be heard,' she said. WLM was launched at Mgwenya Park in Matsulu on November 16 last year. 'Our mission as Widows' Lives Matter is to provide legal, financial and psychosocial support through the promotion of widows' programmes. We aim, through social dialogue and sharing of personal experiences, to educate society on the challenges widows face.' At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Ye Claims He's ‘Done With Antisemitism': ‘Forgive Me for the Pain I've Caused'

Ye's (formerly Kanye West) time spreading antisemitism is over, according to the rapper. The embattled rap mogul claimed on X Thursday (May 22) that he's turned a new leaf and that his time with anything associated with antisemitism is 'done.' 'I am done with antisemitism,' he wrote to kick off a series of posts. 'I love all people. God forgive me for the pain I've caused. I forgive those who have caused me pain. Thank you God.' More from Billboard A Timeline of the Consequences Ye Has Faced for His 'WLM' Shirts & Antisemitic Hate Speech Kneecap Respond to Terror Offense Charge: 'This is a Carnival of Distraction' BTS' Jin Returns to 'Fallon' With 'Don't Say You Love Me' Performance Ye has been vocal about having visitation rights with his children, and it appears seeing his kids on a FaceTime call has inspired him. 'I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again,' he wrote. 'Share peace. Share love.' Though Ye says he's now embracing love instead of antisemitism, the Anti-Defamation League, which has condemned his repeated hate speech, doesn't believe the rapper has changed his ways. 'Sorry, but we're not buying it. We've seen this kind of attempted apology from Kanye before, only for him to back down over and over again,' a spokesperson for the ADL tells Billboard. 'As the Jewish community mourns the deaths of two individuals outside of a Jewish Museum in yet another horrific antisemitic attack, it's going to take a lot more than a couple of tweets to repair the damage of his antisemitic speech.' Back in October 2022, Yeezy wore a shirt proclaiming 'White Lives Matter' at his Paris Fashion Week show, then days later posted on social media he was going to go 'death con 3 on Jewish people,' which set off a chain reaction of businesses and entities such as adidas, Balenciaga, Universal Music Group, Gap and more cutting ties with Ye. The rapper apologized to the Jewish community with a post on social media in Hebrew in late 2023. Fast-forward to 2025, and Ye's continued to spew antisemitic remarks as part of plenty of explosive X tirades, which also featured praise for Hitler and other forms of hate speech, as well as his attempt to sell a T-shirt featuring a swastika on his website in February, a move that the ADL criticized, writing on X, 'There's no excuse for this kind of behavior.' But Ye wasn't done. 'I love Hitler, how what b–ches,' he wrote in March, followed by 'I'm a Nazi.' The rapper has since claimed he's not a Nazi and is now waving the white flag on antisemitism as well, though recent actions appear to show the opposite. Earlier in May, Ye attempted to release his 'Heil Hitler' track, but claimed the controversial single was 'banned' from all digital streaming platforms. 'Heil Hitler by Ye has been banned by all digital streaming platforms,' he wrote on X while calling out the double standard he sees in streaming censorship. 'While Rednecks by Randy Newman remains streamable They're literally keeping the n—-s down.' He's since released 'Alive' — featuring YoungBoy Never Broken Again — a song that Playboi Carti on Thursday (May 22) slammed. The 'Magnolia' rapper alleged in a since-deleted social media post that Ye used an unauthorized sample on the track. The embattled rapper's concert scheduled for May 31 in South Korea was also canceled due to 'recent controversies' swirling around him. Walme Launches $WLM Token Sale to Power the Next Generation of All-in-One Web3 Finance

By GlobeNewswire Published on May 13, 2025, 22:37 IST PRAGUE, May 13, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Walme, the all-in-one Meta-Core Wallet redefining how users interact with money across fiat, crypto, cards, and DAOs, has officially launched the public pre-sale of its $WLM token. Running from May 7 to July 9, the sale marks a critical milestone ahead of Walme's European rollout and product launch later this year. With over 250,000 users already on the waitlist and a fully regulated foundation in the EU, Walme is positioning $WLM not just as a token — but as the utility core of a new kind of financial experience. Imagine landing in a new city. You've got your bank card in your pocket, a crypto wallet on your phone, a payment app, an exchange interface, and encrypted messenger. You open five different apps just to pay for a coffee, send $20 to a friend, and maybe swap some SOL, write a message to your college. Different logins, different interfaces, different fees. Now imagine this instead: You open one app. And everything's already there. That's exactly what Walme is — a Web3 app that doesn't try to 'disrupt banks' but simply asks: Why are we still managing money harder than it has to be? Not just another wallet. A rethinking of personal finance Web3 is full of tools. But very few actual products. MetaMask? Just a key manager. Trust Wallet? Another interface. Walme goes further. It's what the team calls a Meta-Core Wallet: a single command center for every form your money can take — fiat, crypto, cards, even DAOs. It doesn't stop there. The feature that stands out the most? Sending crypto directly inside a chat. Like sending an emoji to girlfriend — but instead of a love Emoji , it's 100 USDT or more. Not just a concept — it's already here Unlike many crypto projects that live on pitch decks and Medium posts, Walme is already on track: Over 18 blockchains integrated Virtual & physical cards ready for issue Full licensing structure in the EU (Walme is a registered VASP) MVP is in final testing Global access is planned, but the first real-world rollout will start in Europe — where the infrastructure is already in place. And here's the kicker — over 250,000 real users have already joined the Waitlist . They're completing tasks, climbing the leaderboard, and actively preparing for launch. This isn't just a 'soon' page — it's a living, breathing community. $WLM: A token that actually does something Let's be honest: 2021 was all about tokens with no product. But 2025? It's the year utility makes a comeback. Walme says it plainly: We didn't launch $WLM to be traded. We launched it to power something real. $WLM is not just a currency. It's a utility key inside the Walme ecosystem: Unlocks premium features Reduces swap, card & transfer fees Enables chat-based crypto payments & DAO access Gives governance rights over Walme's treasury Powers buyback & burn mechanics Eligible for staking This isn't farming for farming's sake — it's a long-term user engagement engine. Token sale is live — and this is the best moment to join The Pre-Sale of Walme's token just launched: Price: $0.004 Stage Bonus: up to 30% Volume Bonus: up to 15% Referral Bonus: 5% Min contribution: $50 Dates: May 7 – July 9 TGE: October 2025 Vesting: 6-month cliff + 12-month linear unlock Total supply: 10B tokens Only 7% of $WLM supply is allocated to early investors. And the vesting ensures long-term alignment — no sudden dumps, no overnight exits. This is token distribution with structure. Not chaos. So what Walme really is? It's not 'just another wallet.' It's not a bank killer. It's not even just a crypto app. Walme is what happens when you stop trying to patch together five different tools — and build one coherent product for how we use money today. Think Gmail for your Spotify for your music. Think Walme for your finances. Join the token sale at art in Europe — where the infrastructure is already in place. 50 Cent Responds to Ye Calling Him ‘One of His Favorite People: ‘Ya Dangerous Right Now'

50 Cent is never one to shy away from just about anything these days, but even he's distancing himself from Ye (formerly Kanye West). While West sniped at plenty of his peers — from Drake to Playboi Carti and Kendrick Lamar — he actually showed some love to 50 Cent. More from Billboard A Timeline of the Consequences Ye Has Faced for His 'WLM' Shirts & Antisemitic Hate Speech U2 Are First Irish Songwriters to Be Named Fellows of the Ivors Academy Dancehall Star 1Ski OG Is Back With Two New Songs - And a New Stage Name '50 Cent is one of my favorite people,' Ye wrote to X on Tuesday (March 18). 'He will be one of the people who brings back Black economic independence.' However, 50 was hesitant to associate with the rapper, who has been criticized for his repeated hate speech. 'Damn it Ye ya dangerous right now, what you say about the kids man,' 50 replied with a repost to his Instagram hours later. Fans had plenty to say about the interaction between the hip-hop titans. '50 the only n—a who Ye didn't crash out on this week,' one person wrote in the 'In Da Club' rapper's comments section. Another chimed in: '50 like 'leave me out this ish ye, not the time.'' During a 2024 interview with Billboard, 50 said nobody's been through more or had as many reasons to crash as Ye, but credited him for powering through to have one of the most decorated careers in rap. 'I don't think anybody's been through more or have more reasons to fall apart than Kanye,' he said at the time. 'The success of his project comes, and his mom passes away. So what you been praying for — the gift is a curse. You lose that, and he had real reasons to f–king be out of it. He did the right thing. He went to work.' While representing different pillars of hip-hop, 50 and Kanye have been pop-culture fixtures for more than two decades. They famously matched up for a memorable 2007 sales battle, which saw them face off at the MTV Video Music Awards and join forces for the cover of Rolling Stone. Kanye's Graduation ended up throttling 50's Curtis (957,000 versus 691,000 first-week album sales), which elevated West's superstar status in music to another level. 'We made the highest sales week for hip-hop culture, doing that and being competitive,' 50 told Billboard when looking back at their battle. 'People that were participating as fans were buying more than one copy of it, because of the competitive side of it. When you look at it… we had to stand together to face off, but we never had an issue.' Cardi B also seemingly responded to one of Ye's X messages, in which he broke down how he sees the hierarchy of female rap and claimed Megan Thee Stallion replaced the Bronx native. 'WHERE CARDI B GONNA BE 10 YEARS FROM NOW THEY USED HER,' he wrote. The 'WAP' rapper appeared to respond on X, flexing her staying power even without dropping an album going on seven years now. '7 years 1 album… STILL being a topic and STILL being asked about my music,' she wrote. 'I'm anointed and I have a real fanbase. They come and go but The Brim is still here and will stay!' Ye has been embroiled in controversy again in recent weeks due to his repeated antisemitic rants and willingness to engage in beef with just about any of his collaborators outside of 50 and A$AP Rocky. However, he did drop his Bully album as part of a short film starring his son Saint on March 19.
