Speaking about the tough defeat, White said Atlanta's physical play disrupted Indiana's performance in the second half, and she also cited WNBA Player of the Month Allisha Gray as one of the other reasons.
"Allisha Gray had a great game. One of the Olympians we were talking about. She's had a great season too," She said.
"She's one of my favorite players in this league. I just think that she's incredibly talented. She's gotten better every year. She continues to just allow the game to come to her." White continued.

Gray put up 23 points on Tuesday, playing 33 minutes. She made one three-pointer and found the bottom of the net on four of her six free throws. White was left impressed by her playstyle.

"She's aggressive to the rim. Her three-point shooting is really good. Great scores get to the free-throw line. She does that. She uses her size well. She plays off of her teammates really well. She's just a tough matchup." White added.
Gray averages 20.4 points per game this season, with 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists. She adapted well to Karl Smesko's machinery and has been a pivotal figure in recent games.
Indiana missed two of their stars due to injury against Atlanta. Caitlin Clark, who is recovering from a left quad strain, and Sophie Cunningham, who is sidelined with a right ankle injury.

White announced that Clark could be back for the next game against the New York Liberty.
