Sentencing will take place following a presentence investigation. The intimidation charge is a third-degree felony, and the ethnic intimidation charge is a fifth-degree felony. The attorneys in the case are recommending a sentence of 18 months in prison. Levitski remains free on bond pending his sentencing. Levitski was arrested for domestic violence Dec. 9 — his third domestic violence of the year — after police were called about 10:20 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance. After Levitski was placed in a cruiser and was being driven to the Mahoning County jail, reports said he called the officer who was driving, who is Black, a racial name and also called his children racial names. Reports also said Levitski also threatened to kill the officer when he got out of jail. Levitski was charged with felony domestic violence because he had three previous arrests for first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence. In 2023, he pleaded guilty in municipal court to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to probation and counseling. He was also arrested June 1 and June 18 by city police for domestic violence. He pleaded guilty Aug. 12 in both cases and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, placed on probation for a year and ordered to attend alcohol counseling three times a week. Worcester's record-setting free bus program takes another victory lap

The longest-running fare-free program in Massachusetts will continue into next year. The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) advisory board voted to extend the agency's fare-free program until June 2026, according to an announcement posted on the authority's X page on Thursday. The fare-free program is part of the agency's FY2026 budget, with the board voting unanimously to extend the program. The WRTA first implemented the fare-free bus program in March 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the advisory board voted to renew the program, allocating funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress and signed into law by former President Donald Trump on March 27, 2020. The WRTA has renewed the program for the last five years, making Thursday's vote the sixth time they've done so. The Zero Fare Coalition, an advocacy group that supports fare-free transportation in Worcester County, celebrated the extension in an X post on Friday. 'Thank you to the WRTA for voting to extend free bus service through June 2026!' The post reads. 'Special thanks to advocates and riders for your continued advocacy; without you, the WRTA would not be the longest-running, fare-free regional transit system in the country!' The program will continue until June 2026 unless the WRTA votes to extend the program again. YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) has announced the start of its Give Small Business A Lift campaign. To qualify, small businesses must be located in Mahoning County, and an entry form must be completed by an owner or authorized officer/manager. Visit to nominate a business. The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 14. The winners will be notified by email and honored at the kickoff event on Wednesday, April 30 at Lariccia Community Center in Boardman Park. One business will also be selected as 'Small Business of the Year,' earning it a free TV advertising campaign donated by WKBN and a social media campaign donated by Farris Marketing/StrategiX Social. WRTA encourages all small businesses in the county to apply — even if the business applied previously. 'We cannot overstate how important small business is to our local and national economy. But starting a small business also seems to take a special sort of grit and determination that exemplifies what America is all about,' said Dean Harris, WRTA's executive director.
