How to watch 2025 WWE WrestleMania 41: Schedule, stream info, match card, preview, John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes

A fallen hero scarred by rejection who turned to the dark side will descend upon the 'Death Star' this weekend at WrestleMania 41. The must-see two-night extravaganza takes place Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 in Las Vegas and will stream live exclusively on Peacock. In Sunday's main event, John Cena will seek a record-breaking 17th world title by dethroning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Six weeks ago, after securing his spot at WrestleMania, Cena did the unthinkable by turning his back on the WWE Universe. WWE's Superman souled out to the all-powerful 'Final Boss,' Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, viciously attacked Rhodes and vowed to retire as the last real WWE Champion at the end of this year. SPEECHLESS. 💔 JOHN CENA just viciously TURNED on CODY RHODES at #WWEChamber! On Saturday, CM Punk's dream of main-eventing WrestleMania will finally come true when he takes on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in what is sure to be a heated Triple Threat Match. And he will have an old friend by his side—his former manager, Paul Heyman. Punk used the favor owed to him by Heyman for assisting Reigns and the OG Bloodline fend off the new Bloodline at Survivor Series last year to demand that Reigns' current manager be in his corner at WrestleMania. Elsewhere on the card, men's Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso will hope that the fourth time's the charm as he once again clashes with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Women's World Champion IYO SKY will defend her title against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a star-studded Triple Threat Match. At the moment, Randy Orton does not yet have an opponent for WrestleMania 41. The future Hall of Famer was originally set to face friend-turned-foe Kevin Owens, before Owens announced he will be out indefinitely with a neck injury. Perhaps Orton will have to wait until he is in the ring at the 'Show of Shows' to find out who his opponent is, the way Seth Rollins did three years ago at WrestleMania 38, when it was revealed he would face none other than a returning Cody Rhodes. 🚨🚨🚨🚨@CodyRhodes IS BACK and facing @WWERollins at #WrestleMania! How many times has John Cena won at WrestleMania? John Cena boasts a 10-6 record at WrestleMania, but his last victory was nearly a decade ago. Cena's 10 WrestleMania wins are tied with Triple H for second most in WWE history, behind Undertaker's stunning 25 wins. He made his WrestleMania debut in 2004, defeating Big Show for the United States Championship—his first of many title wins in WWE. His most recent match was a loss to United States Champion Austin Theory two years ago at WrestleMania 39. Is John Cena retiring from WWE? Yes, at Money in the Bank last July, John Cena announced that he will retire from WWE at the end of this year. He's vowed to dethrone Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania Sunday and retire as the last real WWE Champion. Did you know? While John Cena and Ric Flair can both lay claim to a record 16 world title reigns, Cena can't see 'The Nature Boy' as far as how long they were each on top. Flair was champion for a total of 3,456 days throughout his 16 reigns, compared to Cena's 1,411 days. Woooooooo! WWE Raw: Brussels explodes as John Cena makes his first appearance as a heel

John Cena has been one of wrestling's most beloved babyfaces for more than two decades now. Ever since he did away with his "Doctor of Thuganomics" persona in 2003, he has never looked back. He has never turned heel, always playing the role of the good guy, even helping arguably the biggest star in WWE at the moment, Cody Rhodes, defeat Roman Reigns for the Universal title at WrestleMania XL. However, Cena's run as a face came to an end recently, when he aligned himself with The Rock and turned against his former ally Rhodes. SPEECHLESS. 💔JOHN CENA just viciously TURNED on CODY RHODES at #WWEChamber! — WWE (@WWE) March 2, 2025 Cena had been such a big face that the turn came as a complete shock to everyone watching. Furthermore, Cena had claimed that 2025 would be his final year with WWE, so nobody was expecting such a massive shift for his character. Thusly, Cena's first entrance as a heel on WWE Raw March 17 was met with a flurry of boos as the crowd in Brussels, Belgium erupted upon hearing his iconic "The Time is Now" theme song. WWE News: Release date, episodes for WWE show with Stephanie McMahon In a moment, the crowd went from dead silent to absolutely bananas at the sound of Cena's music. 🚨 JOHN CENA HAS ARRIVED 🚨THIS IS JOHN CENA'S FIRST EVER RAW APPEARANCE AS A HEEL 🤯THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE 😭#WWERaw — TribaI Wrestling (@TribalMegastar) March 17, 2025 Cena took the mic shortly after his entrance, but the crowd still needed several minutes to calm down before Cena could speak. Every time he'd try to start his segment, he was met with a flurry of boos. Once Cena finally got going, he took aim at the fans, claiming that he'd been a puppet his entire career, only ever serving to entertain his fans, while none of them ever gave back to him. "No matter what I do, it's never enough and you should all be ashamed of yourself. All you ever do is take," Cena said. "Not one of you sons of (expletive) asked how I feel." Looks like John Cena has finally EMBRACED THE HATE!#WWERaw — WWE (@WWE) March 17, 2025 Even Cena's supporters weren't safe. Cena claimed they were just as bad as the people booing him, because when he started his farewell tour, he wanted to give back to the fans, but nobody bothered to give him the respect or attention he thought he deserved. "I don't care about you. You don't matter to me," said Cena. After interrupting Cena's rant, Rhodes gave Cena an opportunity to explain himself, but Cena's reasoning wasn't very persuasive. Fans were strongly in support of Cody Rhodes. Rhodes finished the segment by challenging Cena to find himself, claiming that if this version of Cena challenged him at WrestleMania, Rhodes would make him "retire early." Rhodes then called Cena a "whiny (expletive)," and walked off stage while Cena looked on. Notice how WWE had John Cena say everything he needed to say before Cody Rhodes came then when they were face to face he didn't say ALREADY PROTECTING CODY FROM GETTING COOKED BY CENA 😭#WWERaw — TribaI Wrestling (@TribalMegastar) March 17, 2025 WrestleMania 41 is set for Saturday, April 19 - Sunday, April 20. The two-night event will take place at Allegiant Stadium near Las Vegas, Nevada. Cena Wins 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber, Turns Heel on Cody Rhodes

Rana Atef Early Sunday, WWE shocked the fans around the world by turning John Cena, who is one of the biggest babyfaces in the history of the company, heel for the first time in more than 20 years old. Cody Rhodes came out to face Cena ahead of their WrestleMania 41 match after the 16-time world champion won the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber match. Their showdown took place during a segment that included The Rock and Travis Scott. The Rock asked Rhodes to offer him his soul to reach the furthest hights in WWE which was declined by Rhodes. Cena and Rhodes embraced in front of The Rock. With Rhodes' back turned, The Rock signaled to Cena to attack him. IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. #WWEChamber — WWE (@WWE) March 2, 2025 Cena hit Rhodes with a low blow followed by a punch that left him bleeding. At his press conference, Cena simply picked up his microphone and dropped it onto the table before walking out without saying a word to the media. 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber took place in Toronto, Canada, and it witnessed the victory of Bianca Blair with the Women's Elimination Chamber match, Team Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton defeating Nia Jax and Candice LeRae, and the victory of Kevin Owens in the Unsanctioned Match against Sami Zayn, in addition to the victory of John Cena.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 results as John Cena turn shocks the world with WrestleMania main event revealed

John Cena will headline his final ever WrestleMania in an WWE Undisputed Championship match against Cody Rhodes. Cena won the Men's Elimination Chamber match by making old rival CM Punk pass out in his STF submission manoeuvre to punch his ticket at next month's showcase of the immortals in Las Vegas. Speaking of Rhodes, he confronted his WrestleMania 41 opponent right after match and following a handshake between the pair, The Rock's music hit and he made his way to the ring accompanied by Travis Scott. Rock wanting an answer from Rhodes to become 'his' champion was instead told to "go **** yourself". However, it was Cena who would end up aligning himself with the 'Final Boss' in a shocking turn of events, first delivering a low blow to Rhodes following an embrace, hitting him in the head with a watch and then the Undisputed Championship before choking Rhodes out with his own tie. To rub salt further into the wounds, Cena and Scott held Rhodes down for The Rock to whip him with his custom made weightlifting belt and the closing shots of Elimination Chamber 2025 was of Rock and Cena looking back at Rhodes who had blood pouring down his face. SPEECHLESS. 💔JOHN CENA just viciously TURNED on CODY RHODES at #WWEChamber! — WWE (@WWE) March 2, 2025 The Women's chamber match kicked off the event, though before the match even got started, Jade Cargill made her return having not been seen since being attacked on Smackdown back in November. Making her way to the ring, it appeared Cargill had her eyes set on Liv Morgan - seen leaving the scene with tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez after the aforementioned attack. However, Cargill instead launched a vicious attack on Naomi whom she teamed with at WrestleMania last year, rendering her unable to compete. Everyone inside the Rogers Arena were left in utter shock, does this mean Naomi has been the guilty party all this time? JADE CARGILL IS BACK!And wait what the hell?! 😲#WWEChamber — WWE (@WWE) March 2, 2025 With no replacement for Naomi, it turned into a fatal five-way instead and Bianca Belair emerged victorious after last eliminating Liv Morgan to earn herself a Women's World Championship match against either Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky depending on the result of their title bout on the March 3 episode of Monday Night Raw. WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus teamed up with WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton to successfully beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Elsewhere on the undercard, Sami Zayn battled Kevin Owens in front of a hometown crowd in a brutal 'Unsanctioned match' that featured the usage of tables, hockey sticks, a ring bell and a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire. Owens eventually got the win by power-bombing Zayn on the ring apron - a callback to their NXT days - but was prevented from doing further damage by a returning Randy Orton who gained a measure of payback on the man who put him on the shelf for months by hitting a devastating RKO before being intercepted by WWE officials as he lined up a punt kick. WWE SmackDown results, highlights (Feb. 28): The Rock puts the pressure on Cody Rhodes

Friday's "WWE SmackDown" go-home show before Elimination Chamber was all about the United States Championship. Throughout the night, we saw three matches that led the winners to a triple threat to determine Shinsuke Nakamura's next challenger. All the while, everyone and their mother were concerned about the company's premier face, walking around like a little kid who'd lost his balloon. Wrestlers like R-Truth, The Miz and CM Punk confronted Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes about The Rock's dilemma throughout the night. Their interactions were comical for different reasons, and they essentially all made fun of the soul thing. Everything about this seems insane to me. Michael Cole even stepped in to warn Rhodes before The Rock delivered Rhodes a new "American Nightmare" truck. This was the final butter-up after giving the Undisputed WWE Champion a fancy locker room for the night. We see what you did there, @CMPunk 😅#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 "Maybe you should think about it" R-Truth doesn't see the harm in selling your soul for perks like this! 😂#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 After gifting @CodyRhodes a car, @TheRock had a special message ahead of #WWEChamber#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 What will @CodyRhodes' decide TOMORROW at #WWEChamber? 👀#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 If this isn't just an elaborate ploy for The Rock to make a match with Rhodes, then it's all weird. It looked like the U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was headed for an LA Knight rematch after last week's "WWE SmackDown." Instead, several storylines were integrated into a big one-night contender tournament — including The Bloodline and what's been happening with Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. The boys had a bit of a quibble backstage, apologizing for the recent accidents and explaining that they're now turning their attention to the U.S. title. It feels random for them, but it's an easy way to give us some unique matches. Fatu vs. Andrade, in particular, was a straight-up slapper. .@AndradeElIdolo is taking control of this match! 🔥#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 After the show started, we really needed this match. Andrade always reminds the world how great he is when put in spots like this. Fatu can't do much wrong right now, and they made for one hell of a combo. Every move was 100 miles per hour, and Fatu got the W with that massive moonsault of his. The next match for this one-night extravaganza was LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar. Knight winning was a no-brainer. (YEAH!) Knight really does feel like a modern-day Stone Cold Steve Austin, which makes his failure to go beyond the mid-card all the more upsetting. To continue the beauty of this tournament, Knight won with a mid-air BFT. Oddly, Escobar no-sold it by rolling out of the ring after the pin and walking out of the arena. We'll have to see if there was anything to that. LA Knight picks up the win against Escobar and advances to the triple threat U.S title #1 Contender match!#SmackDown — WWE Rumours and Updates (@WWEUpdates1504) March 1, 2025 The last U.S. title contender singles match between Braun Strowman and Carmelo Hayes was immediate shenanigans. Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa tried to interfere and take out Strowman. It ended up not even being a match, as Hayes paid homage to Eddie Guerrero, winning the match with the fake no-look chair shot spot. We've seen enough of Strowman vs. Hayes, so I guess it wasn't the worst thing. And keeping Strowman involved with The Bloodline is fun, as is Hayes in that triple-threat match with Fatu and Knight. Let's party. United States Title No. 1 Contender Qualifying Match: Carmelo Hayes defeats Braun Strowman after he pulls an Eddy Guerrero! Braun Strowman is not having it | #WWE #SmackDown — Ringside News: WWE & AEW Wrestling News (@ringsidenews_) March 1, 2025 WWE is doing a great job keeping me in their good graces with all these triple-threat matches lately. There has been some serious spoiling, and the pairing of Fatu, Knight and Hayes wasn't on my 2025 bingo card. Ideas like this with the U.S. title are so damn fun. The tournament story felt shaped around The Bloodline, which made Knight stealing the win off Fatu's moonsault to Hayes was somewhat surprising — mainly because it came without any involvement of Sikoa or Tanga. As much of a Knight guy as I am, this win is more to keep him occupied with something to do — something he's already done in a program with Nakamura. It feels like a bit of a miss to not play with Nakamura and Fatu with the whole Bloodline saga, but I'm intrigued, and that's a good thing. .@RealLAKnight sent @Carmelo_WWE FLYING! #SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 To cap the fun off, I had to wait to give out our... It was Andrade tonight. Any of the winners of the singles matches could have gotten the nod, but Andrade vs. Fatu was the match of the night, and he's so good. The man deserves more, but he's unfortunately stuck in a perpetual no man's land. But I see you, Andrade. Don't worry. The best thing for him might be to swap over to "WWE Raw." He can wrestle with anyone on the planet. It's just about finding a direction. This year's Elimination Chamber really is highlighting the personalities involved. It started with Drew McIntyre cutting off a John Cena video package, which was a brilliant idea. The guy's mic work on his own is arguably better than going back and forth with someone because it escalated against him as soon as Priest interrupted. .@CMPunk has one thing on his mind and that's #WrestleMania!#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 It became a predictable segment with Priest reminding McIntyre of all the CM Punk drama leading to his downfalls. McIntyre nearly went at Priest in the ring, which prompted Rollins to appear with the most insane outfit on. It made for some brilliant jabs from Punk, who came out next. It must be mandatory in Canada because as Punk was just verbally decapitating everyone, Logan Paul pulled a fast one, coming out with John Cena's entrance. This always happens to poor Canada, and it gets funnier every time. .@loganpaul had us in the first half ngl#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 This was your classic multi-man promo battle. It ran a bit long, and Paul got too much time, but it was entertaining and had a creative start that teased a full circle moment. Chelsea Green saved the start of this show by disrupting Trish Status and Tiffany Stratton's segment. However, it quickly escalated back into the burial of the new women's mid-card champions. It was champion vs. champion as an impromptu Green vs. Stratton match was made, and obviously, there wasn't a chance Green was going to win. .@RealNickAldis definitely thinks that's a good idea! We're getting @tiffstrattonwwe vs. @ImChelseaGreen right now!#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 Green's character is that stereotypical coward heel, but screaming not to have a match while being a champion is just a rough look regardless. This was all used to generate "hype" for the Nia Jax and Candice LeRae match at Elimination Chamber because they attacked Stratton to give her the DQ win. This booking couldn't have been lazier, and all at the expense of Green for no good reason. Her spot could have been reserved for any heel. WWE is lucky that Charlotte Flair and Stratton will deliver a classic without a storyline. You know, because remember, they're going against each other at WrestleMania 41. We Flair was found later only to deliver the quickest promo ever on Stratton. It was almost like she had just shown up as the show neared its end. 1. Sami Zayn invited Kevin Owens to chat in the ring before their big unsanctioned match at Elimination Chamber. Owens instead appeared on the titantron screen, showing him at Rogers Center. Owens spoke into a mic despite being in an empty arena. (I notice these things, OK?) The former best friends kept things pretty brief — brief but personal. Owens told Zayn everything that had happened to him was all his fault, so he wouldn't help his family after what he had done to Zayn. This was some pretty nasty work, and they didn't need to go long. We all know their history. This was good. "I am prepared to end YOU."We haven't seen this side of @SamiZayn before...😳#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 2. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defeated Bianca Belair, Naomi and Bayley off the Perez Pop Rocks finish pin of Bayley. Bayley just dove all over the place at the match's start. I don't care about any of this anymore — not until Jade Cargill returns. At this point, I don't have high expectations for that, though. Regardless, the match was very good. .@itsBayleyWWE is unstoppable!#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 To surprise us, especially Perez, Alexa Bliss appeared and took her out post-match, which knocked this to a thumbs up. Either of them is the correct choice to win the women's Elimination Chamber match. 1. Los Garza and The Street Profits were supposed to have a match. That was until DIY hilariously attacked the Profits with their titles on. Then it just dissolved into chaos between every tag team. So, there was no match. OK, I guess. 1. Cody Rhodes and some security guards that welcomed him into the building had the most poorly acted interaction ever. 2. Trish Stratus opened the show with absolutely no pop from the Canadian crowd. She's from Toronto and they didn't give a damn. It was painfully silent in there. Big yikes, man. Her whole segment with Tiffany Stratton was pretty cringe-worthy overall — if it wasn't already obvious that their Elimination Chamber program was forced. It's Tiffy & Trishy Time ✨@tiffstrattonwwe & @trishstratuscom are in sync!#SmackDown — WWE (@WWE) March 1, 2025 👑The United States title carried this "WWE SmackDown" without even being on it. I give this show a Crown score of: 7/10👑
