Triple H's honest thoughts on the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase may come as a surprise

Image via WWE Triple H reportedly has his own opinion about the Money in the Bank briefcase, which might come as a huge surprise. WWE is currently under the leadership of the Chief Content Officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque. The Game, alongside WWE CEO Nick Khan, has been taking the Stamford-based promotion to heights never reached before. The next Premium Live Event they are set to present is WWE Money in the Bank, scheduled for two weeks from now. Speaking of that, there has been an interesting update regarding Triple H's thoughts on the namesake briefcase, which may come as a surprise to the fanbase. What does Triple H think about the Money in the Bank briefcase? According to a new report on WrestleVotes Radio, Triple H is not a fan of the Money in the Bank briefcase. The Game is reportedly not a fan of it as a prop in the company. While there is no confirmation on the same, there is a belief regarding the reason for Triple H not being behind the idea of Money in the Bank. The match and briefcase, which can change the trajectory of a WWE superstar's career, were created by veteran star Chris Jericho. It has been widely known that Triple H and he have had their differences in real life. The Game has not been fond of the former AEW World Champion, so it is a possibility that this belief is true. Regardless, WWE will present Money in the Bank PLE this year on June 9th from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. The event, like each year, will feature two ladder matches for the coveted briefcase. Apart from that, one more match has been made official as of this writing. Cody Rhodes, who made his return at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event last week, will team up with Jey Uso to battle the team of John Cena and Logan Paul. This will also be the last time Cena competes at the event. With the PLE rapidly approaching, it will be interesting to see it down at the same venue where Monday Night RAW made its debut on Netflix. Top SmackDown stars qualify for the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match

Image via WWE The Money in the Bank ladder match qualifiers began on this week's edition of SmackDown. After a successful WWE Backlash show, the promotion has now turned its attention to its next major Premium Live Event, WWE Money in the Bank. The exciting show will take place on Saturday, June 7th, at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. The top attraction for the show will be the Money in the Bank ladder matches for both the men's and women's divisions. The first set of qualifying matches for the bouts began on the May 16th, 2025, edition of Friday Night SmackDown. As the dust settled, two superstars punched their ticket to the PLE and came one step closer to the coveted briefcase. Which WWE superstars qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder matches? This week's episode of SmackDown saw two triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying matches take place. The opening contest was between Alexa Bliss, Chelsea Green, and Michin. The match was so exhilarating that it led to the fans erupting in a 'This is Awesome' chant. Towards the end of the bout, Alexa Bliss hit the Twisted Bliss on Michin, but Chelsea Green pushed her away to try and steal the win. However, the former five-time WWE Women's Champion regrouped in time and delivered a Sister Abigail DDT to secure the first spot in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. On the men's side, Rey Fenix, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa competed against each other to qualify for the ladder match. The match was a hard-hitting affair and also saw the interference of Sikoa's new ally, Jeff Cobb, now known as J.C. Matteo. That gave Solo the chance to capitalize as he took out Fenix with the Samoan Spike to win the bout and qualify for the Men's Money in the Bank match. The first two spots in the ladder showdown at the PLE have been filled. The qualifying matches will continue in the coming weeks, with other top stars trying to secure a place. So, it will be interesting to see which WWE superstars will join Alexa Bliss and Solo Sikoa. 3 John Cena WWE matches unlikely to happen during his farewell tour

Image via WWE John Cena only has a handful of appearances on his farewell tour so many WWE stars will not get an opportunity to face him in a match. John Cena made a shocking announcement at the 2024 WWE Money in the Bank PLE. He revealed that 2025 will mark the start of his farewell tour in WWE and end in December of that year. It has been months since the start of his last leg, and Cena has competed in marquee matches. The Cenation Leader has close to 25 appearances left in his farewell tour, meaning that not all WWE superstars will get a chance for one last dance against him in the ring. Here are the top three choices who are unlikely to face John Cena in his farewell tour: 3. Bronson Reed by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like AI guru Andrew Ng recommends: Read These 5 Books And Turn Your Life Around in 2025 Blinkist: Andrew Ng's Reading List Undo Bronson Reed was being positioned as the next monster in the making in WWE with his pure dominance, raw power, and physical stature. He was slowly rising up the ranks until his momentum was derailed with an ankle injury he suffered at the 2024 WWE Survivor Series PLE. Reed is not expected to be back for months; even if he does, it would possibly be towards the end of John Cena's farewell tour. Although he had expressed his desire to battle the 17-time champion, it seems very unlikely that Reed will get a chance to do so. 2. Joe Hendry Another popular wrestling superstar who is eyeing a match with John Cena before the end of his farewell tour is the current TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry. The captivating star, although he got a match at WrestleMania 41 against Cena's historic rival, Randy Orton, WWE might not consider him for a bout with Cena. With only limited dates and many top names WWE has that can share the ring, Hendry's chances to battle Cena look bleak at the moment. 1. The Rock The Rock returned to WWE on the road to WrestleMania 41 and joined forces with John Cena at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. While many fans expected, The Rock did not make any appearances following that and even chose to step out of WrestleMania on his own will. Moreover, there are no signs of him getting back in the ring due to his other commitments, making a last time mega showdown with Cena unlikely on his farewell tour.
