Osiris Griffin Shows Off Nasty Hand Injury He Suffered On NXT That Required Stitches
DarkState's Osiris Griffin suffered a nasty hand injury at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver this past weekend in Las Vegas. DarkState consisting Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, and Saquon Shugars, along with Cutler James, took on The D'Angelo Family consitingTony D'Angelo, Channing 'Stacks' Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino at NXT Stand & Deliver. Advertisement After weeks of going back and forth, the two factions finally battled in a six-man tag team match, where DarkState picked up the win. During the match, Stacks shocked the fans by hitting Tony D'Angelo with a low blow. This gave Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin an advantage as they tossed Tony D'Angelo to Shugars, who finished the match with a big powerbomb. Even though DarkState got a big win, Osiris Griffin suffered a painful hand injury. He later posted a photo of the injury on X/Twitter, showing that he needed stitches. After suffering the injury, Griffin shared another update on the condition of his hand. With Osiris Griffin suffering a nasty injury, it's still unclear whether he'll miss any in-ring action. Advertisement Meanwhile, his faction DarkState just picked up a huge win. It will be interesting to see who they target next on the black and gold brand. The D'Angelo Family has been dealing with growing tension lately, as Stacks has openly clashed with Tony D'Angelo multiple times in recent weeks. Stephanie Vaquer Announces Her Match For WWE NXT Stand & Deliver
Image Credit: WWE We now know who Stephanie Vaquer will defend her NXT Women's Championship against later this month at Stand & Deliver. This week's episode of WWE NXT kicked off with Stephanie Vaquer teasing that she would name her opponent for Stand & Deliver after the opening contest. Vaquer went to ringside to join the commentary team for the matchup between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker. Advertisement The match was eventually thrown out as Vaquer got involved with Parker at ringside and accidentally hit Grace. This led to the unexpected return of Giulia who helped Vaquer clear the ring of Grace and Parker before attacking the champion herself, posing with the NXT Championship while placing her boot on Vaquer's head. Later in the evening, Giulia declared she wanted her rematch against Vaquer at Stand & Deliver. When Ava proposed the question to Vaquer later, the champion declared she wants all three women in a fatal four-way match at Stand & Deliver. Huge Triple Threat For The NXT Championship Announced For WWE NXT Stand & Deliver WWE NXT Stand and Deliver Logo 2023 Oba Femi will have his hands full later this month at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver. Tonight during WWE NXT, Trick Williams once again called out Oba Femi, looking for a rematch for the NXT Championship. This led to Je'Von Evans and Oba Femi both coming to the ring, and the three men exchanged heated comments. Advertisement This led to WWE NXT General Manager Ava interrupting the three men and announcing that Oba Femi would defend his title in a triple threat match at Stand & Deliver against both Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans. Williams didn't take kindly to this announcement and immediately attacked Evans. Femi quickly got involved before Darkstate once again made their presence felt and laid out all three men.
