New On Disney+ May 2025
Disney+ has a fresh list of magical movies and shows, new and old, coming your way this May, including Disney+ Original titles like Andor: Season 2 and Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld. In fact, some of the best new titles on Disney+ are fresh, new original series and movies that premiere this month. Here are two of the best new titles coming to the platform this May: Celebrate Star Wars Day with this six-episode animated series that explores the galaxy's perilous criminal underworld through the eyes of two notorious villains. See the yellow lightsaber-wieling former assassin and bounty hunter Asajj Ventress (Nika Futterman) get a new chance at life, as well as quick-drawing outlaw Cad Bane (Corey Burton) confront his past when he is forced to face an old friend now on the opposing side of the law, all in Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld early this month, only on Disney+. The hit Star Wars story Andor returns to Disney+ this month for the last episodes leading up to an epic series finale. Andor: Season 2 continues to follow thief-turned-revolutionary Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) as he becomes a central figure in the Rebel Alliance as an all-out war with the Galactic Empire draws nearer. This last batch of episodes will showcase Cassian's transformation and growth into the rebellious hero he is in 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and is sure to end with a bang, so make sure to do yourselves a favor and check the episodes out when they drop on Disney+ in May. Disney Plus Schedule for May 5- May 11 includes Andor (Season 2)'s new episodes, Broken Karaoke Season 3, Firebuds Season 2, Doctor Who (Season 2)'s fifth episode, and many more. On May 6, Andor (Season 2)'s new episodes drop on Disney+. The previous episode showcased Cassian's feeling that the rebels of Ghorman are unprepared. Further, he got into an argument with Luthen after learning he tried to convince Bix to return to action. Luthen gets upset with him and decides to send Cinta and Vel to help the rebels in the heist. Further, Broken Karaoke Season 3's three episodes will be available on the streaming platform. The animated series focuses on the Disney characters performing parodies of songs, leaving everyone in splits. Also coming out on Disney Plus is Firebuds Season 2, with two episodes. The animated adventure series follows the lives of a group of kids and a fire truck. They team up to protect the city from every kind of trouble and danger. Additionally, Doctor Who (Season 2)'s fifth episode premieres on the streaming platform. The fantasy series resumes the adventures of the Doctor with a new companion, Belinda Chandra.
