WWE Evolution 2025 (7/13/25) Highlights and Results: Naomi shocks with successful MITB cash-in, Tiffany Stratton retains title and more

Image via WWE WWE ended their highly action-packed weekend with the all-women's Premium Live Event, Evolution 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The women of the past and present delivered a memorable night for the ages that saw opportunities being secured, rivalries coming head-to-head, and a shocking end that saw Naomi reign supreme above the entire women's division. Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria The first match of WWE Evolution was for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. All three women displayed an excellent showdown as the workhorse title was at stake. In the final moments, as Bayley had Lyra Valkyria down with a Rose Plant and went to cover her, Becky Lynch used a backslide pin to score the three count and retain her title. Jacy Jayne vs. Jordynne Grace The match was for the NXT Women's Championship. Jacy Jayne had her Fatal Influence cohorts, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley, ringside. Regardless of that, the challenger Jordynne Grace, who had Blake Monroe in her corner, unleashed her full fury on the champion in an attempt to win the title. However, the Juggernaut came up short when a series of distractions led to Monroe hitting Grace with the belt and Jayne hitting the Rolling Encore on Grace and rolling her up for the pin. In doing so, Monroe turned on her supposed ally, Jordynne Grace. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Sol Ruca and ZARIA vs. Asuka and 'The Pirate Princess' Kairi Sane This was a Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like An engineer reveals: One simple trick to get internet without a subscription Techno Mag Learn More Undo All four teams displayed an excellent showing in the tag team showdown, with different styles and in-ring competitors clashing at the same time. However, as the dust settled, it was Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez who managed to retain their tag titles over the entire field. Tiffany Stratton vs. Trish Stratus The generational clash between Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus was for the WWE Women's Championship. The two women went against each other in full force, and the match garnered loud 'This is Awesome' chants from the audience. It came to its conclusion when Stratton stopped a moonsault attempt from Stratus and delivered the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to win the match. Jade Cargill vs. Naomi The match was a No Holds Barred match with Bianca Belair serving as the Special Guest referee. Jade Cargill and Naomi made use of the stipulation and unleashed on each other with everything they had. From tables to chairs to kendosticks, they utilized everything to inflict major damage. As the final moments arrived, Naomi was going for a top rope move, but Cargill hit her with a chair to the back. She then delivered the Jaded from the top rope on the table to pin Naomi for the win. Women's Battle Royal The field comprised major superstars from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Even so, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella was also a part of the battle royal. It was a fast-paced match that saw elimination after elimination. Moreover, a highlight saw Lash Legend lifting Nia Jax up. It came down to her and Stephanie Vaquer in the end. She delivered the Devil's Kiss on the apron to eliminate Legend and win the match. With her victory, she now has a guaranteed Women's title match at Clash in Paris PLE. Rhea Ripley vs. IYO Sky This was the main event of the show for the WWE Women's Championship. The champion, IYO Sky, went up in full force against the dominant challenger Rhea Ripley. The match was highly captivating, went all across the entire ringside area, including the crowd, and received loud cheers of 'Women's wrestling' and 'This is Awesome.' Following one of the best matches of the night, the ending saw a huge, shocking turn. Naomi came down to the ring and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract, turning the match into a triple threat. She hit IYO Sky with the briefcase, pushed Ripley aside, and hit Sky with a split leg moonsault to win and become the new WWE Women's World Champion. Becky Lynch drops the script to help a fan in need on WWE RAW

Image via Imagn (Becky Lynch) Becky Lynch came back to WWE after a year of hiatus at WrestleMania 41 and turned heel on the following episode of Monday Night RAW. Since then, The Man has shown her dark side every week on WWE television programming. However, an unfortunate incident led to Lynch dropping her current character to come to the rescue of a fan after Monday Night RAW this week. Becky Lynch proved herself to be a real-life hero of the fans despite her current heel character A fan named Gladys took to her X to make a revelation of the events that transpired after the July 7th edition of Monday Night RAW that took place in Rhode Island. She revealed that Becky Lynch and her real-life husband Seth Rollins were walking towards their bus when they heard a female fan fell from their wheelchair. She said, 'I'm outside the arena, as you can tell, and Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were walking away from their bus. I guess they had to go do something inside, when somebody fell out of their wheelchair.' Witnessing that, The Man rushed to her rescue and helped the fan to their feet along with the other people and made sure that they were fine. Lynch comforted the fan with a small chat, and she wished her luck. 'I'm about maybe ten feet away from the fence where everyone's getting autographs. Without missing a beat, Becky pulled the gate aside, ran over, and helped the other people pick up the lady off of her wheelchair and made sure she was okay in her wheelchair. She spoke with her for a few minutes and then the lady wished her good luck tonight,' said Gladys in her video. While Lynch had a real-life heartwarming moment, she has a tall task ahead of her this weekend. The Man will defend her WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in a triple-threat match. The match will take place at WWE Evolution 2, happening at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 13. With her championship reign in danger, it remains to be seen if she will be able to leave with her title reign intact. WWE Money in the Bank 2025 set for Inglewood with full match card revealed

WWE superstars prepare for Money in the Bank 2025, featuring ladder matches, a women's title defense, and a tag team contest live from Inglewood, California WWE will present the 16th annual Money in the Bank premium live event this weekend at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The event maintains WWE's recent trend of short-format shows and includes four matches on the main card. As customary, two of those matches will be the signature men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches. The women's Money in the Bank match features six competitors: Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Naomi, and Rhea Ripley. The field offers a balance of veteran talent and new contenders. On the men's side, Seth Rollins leads the lineup alongside LA Knight, Andrade, Solo Sikoa, Penta, and El Grande Americano. Rollins, who previously won the Money in the Bank match in 2014 and cashed in successfully at WrestleMania 31, enters as the favorite. These ladder matches will determine which male and female competitors receive future championship match opportunities at a time and place of their choosing. In the lone championship bout on the card, Lyra Valkyria will defend the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch. This marks the second meeting between the two during this title reign. Valkyria defeated Lynch last month at WWE Backlash. Per the stipulation, if Lynch fails to win, she will not be eligible to challenge for the title again during Valkyria's current reign. The card also features a tag team match with high-profile implications. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will face the pairing of John Cena and Logan Paul. Rhodes recently lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cena at WrestleMania 41 in April. Jey Uso, meanwhile, successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Paul in a recent encounter. The match pairs longtime allies Rhodes and Uso against opponents with recent title history, contributing additional storyline context to the event. Cena and Paul team up following their respective championship pursuits, while Rhodes and Uso continue to align as key figures in WWE's top-tier narrative arcs. With the final card confirmed, WWE Money in the Bank 2025 positions itself as one of the company's major summer events. The combination of title stakes, ladder match suspense, and returning stars adds multiple layers of interest heading into the show at the Intuit Dome.
