Exclusive: Wagle Ki Duniya's Pariva Pranati on her approach to motherhood; says ‘I want my child to see me as someone they can talk to about anything'

Read Also Read Also Known for her relatable and grounded portrayal of Vandana Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya, actress Pariva Pranati recently opened up to Times of India TV about her personal take on motherhood — drawing both inspiration from her onscreen role and her real-life experiences as a on how much of Vandana Wagle mirrors her real-life parenting style, Pariva said, 'Vandana's relationship with her kids is something I deeply connect with — that mix of openness, trust, and responsibility. She's not just managing the household; she's having the tough conversations too — about social issues, values, things people often shy away from. I want my child to see me as someone they can talk to about anything, even the uncomfortable topics.'Recalling touching moments from the set that reminded her of real motherhood, Pariva shared a memory from the COVID-19 phase. 'I was away from my own family for the shoot and remember telling Sheehan (who plays Atharva), 'You be my Rushki for now.' He's such a wonderful child, so intuitive. There've been many scenes where Vandana has to explain difficult topics, and the honesty in those scripts has helped me evolve as a mother too.'Motherhood, she says, made her see her own mother in a new light. 'Once you become a mom, you realise how much your mother did silently, day after day. The emotional labour and small sacrifices all hit differently. Vandana captures that strength, but it's real life that truly opened my eyes.'Balancing her demanding shoot schedule with parenting is no easy feat, and Pariva admits the challenges. 'There are days I miss school events or bedtime routines, and the guilt does creep in. But I have a very supportive husband, and we plan our days around each other. My son also understands that mom loves her job — and that helps. Honestly, the Wagle team feels like a second family. Their support makes all the difference.'For all the mothers watching her as Vandana, Pariva has a heartfelt message: 'To every mother out there — I see you. I may not know your story, but I know the strength it takes to put yourself last and still smile. You're doing more than enough, even on days when it doesn't feel like it. Take care of yourself too — your well-being matters just as much. And if Vandana reminds you of your own quiet strength, then I've done justice to the role.'In both reel and real life, Pariva Pranati continues to inspire as a mother who leads with empathy, strength, and heart.

Nepal's Tourism Sector Flourishes with 1.2 Million Jobs and Growing Interest from GCC Travelers

Nepal's tourism sector played a vital role in the country's economy, providing direct and indirect employment to 1.2 million people in 2023, contributing 6.1% to the GDP. The sector's contribution is projected to increase to 6.6% in 2024, as growing numbers of international travelers explore Nepal's diverse attractions. Speaking at the Tourism to Nepal: Mountain and More promotional event at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama, Nepal's Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Tirtha Raj Wagle, highlighted the sector's robust performance. He revealed that 1.15 million tourists visited Nepal in 2024, with India, the USA, the UK, China, Australia, Germany, and France ranking among the top sources of visitors. 'We are delighted to see growing interest in Nepal from tourists in the GCC countries,' Ambassador Wagle said in remarks to the Daily Tribune. The event also shed light on the expanding prospects for Nepal-Bahrain cooperation in tourism, particularly in mountaineering and hospitality. Ambassador Wagle recalled a remarkable milestone in Nepal-Bahrain relations—the historic Everest summit by the Bahrain Royal Guard team. On May 11, 2021, a 16-member team led by Shaikh Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Al Khalifa successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest, marking the first-ever ascent by Bahrainis. Reflecting on the achievement, Ambassador Wagle noted that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa personally congratulated the climbers, remarking, 'Bahrain's message from the highest mountain is that peace and security should prevail all over the world.' Adding a personal touch to the event, Mohamed Isa delivered an inspiring speech recounting his trekking experiences in Nepal and the country's breathtaking landscapes. Dr. Ali Hassan Follad, Advisor to Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority, attended the event as the representative of H.E. Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Bahrain's Minister of Tourism, underscoring Bahrain's keen interest in strengthening tourism ties with Nepal. The event served as a platform to promote Nepal's tourism potential, further cementing its status as a premier global travel destination.
