4-year-old Ralphie looks for fur-ever ʻohana
HONOLULU (KHON2) — A gentle pup is waiting for his fur-ever home at the Hawaiian Humane Society. Ralphie is KHON2's feature for Wags 'n Whiskers Wednesday. He is a 45-pound, four-year-old Terrier mix brought to the shelter in mid-January. Miracle: The pup who defied all odds According to HHS, Ralphie was brought in by a Good Samaritan who found him wandering around her neighborhood. Upon his arrival, it didn't take long for him to win over the hearts of HHS volunteers and staff. And the best way to win over his heart? Treats! Miracle: The pup who defied all odds
HONOLULU (KHON2) — For Wags 'n Whiskers Wednesday, KHON2 features Miracle, a pup patiently waiting for a permanent, loving home. Double trouble: Two pups seeking fur-ever homes Five-year-old Hound mix, Miracle, has been in and out of the Hawaiian Humane Society since November 2024. According to the HHS, she arrived emaciated and in rough shape, but with lots of love and care, Miracle was able to defy all odds and came back stronger than ever. Officials said those who meet her would have no idea of the hardships she's overcome because of her sweet and affectionate personality.'Her happy taps and rapid tail wags are sure to brighten your day. This special girl is the true embodiment of resilience,' HHS said. The lucky ʻohana who brings Miracle home will not only see her gentle demeanor and curious spirit, but experience warmth, joy and unconditional love. She is a recipient of the shelter's Reid Krucky Memorial Fund, which means her adoption fee is waived and she will go home with special goodies to help settle in. Double trouble: Two pups looking for fur-ever homes
HONOLULU (KHON2) — It's a special Wags 'n Whiskers Wednesday as KHON2 features two pups who need a good home. Find our first Wags 'n Whiskers feature at the Hawaiian Humane Society's Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili. A cute, cuddly pup awaits future ohana at Hawaiian Humane Society Seven-year-old Farrah is a caramel-colored Labrador Retriever mix looking for a calm home. The Hawaiian Humane Society said Farrah has a soft personality. She's quiet, affectionate and loves snacking on yummy treats. She can also be found at her happy place — a cool patch of grass beneath a shady tree. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, visit Farrah daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Her adoption fees have been waived, and her future ohana will get a goodie bag with essentials to help her settle on Maui, a two-year-old goofball is also looking for his fur-ever home. The Maui Humane Society says Charlie was found scared and emaciated at Waihe'e Macnut Farms in January. According to MHS, Charlie has been on a healing and discovery journey and has blossomed into a 'playful, loving pup who enjoys zooming around with his favorite toys, splashing in the doggy pool and romping with his canine friends.' He's looking for a patient and loving home. 'While he may be shy when meeting new people, a few treats and a soft voice are all it takes to win him over,' MHS said.
