Wildfires burning in the Upstate, WNC: Where to donate?

(WSPA) – Many organizations in the Upstate and Western North Carolina are accepting donations to assist those battling the wildfires. The following are listed below: Harrison's – Spartanburg, SC are accepting the following donations at 2660 Reidville Road: EyedropsSafety glasses (new or used)SocksSport hydration drinks (Gatorade, Powerade, Body Armor)Baby Wipes Harrison's – Mauldin, SC are accepting the following donations at 206 New Neely Ferry Road: EyedropsSafety glasses (new or used)SocksSport hydration drinks (Gatorade, Powerade, Body Armor)Baby Wipes A Table Rock Wildfire supply donation drop-off is now open at the Walhalla Fire Department at 207 East North Broad Street through noon on Friday, March 28. Below is a list of needs: Bottled water Liquid IV/ electrolyte supplement Snacks (including fresh fruit) Socks Chapstick Eye drops Bandanas Sinus wash solution Safety glasses Batteries (all sizes) To Go Plates Plastic Utensils Paper Towels Ziploc Bags (sandwich size) Brown Paper Bags (lunch sack size) Clorox Wipes Foam Plates The Pickens County Sheriff's Office said there's an average of 400 first responders working the Table Rock Complex Fire. The following donations will be accepted at Market at the Mill: Gold Bond Mole Skin Safety Glasses/Goggles Bandanas Duct Tape Super Glue Mouthwash (Travel Size) Dude Wipes Brown Lunch bags (#12) Little Debbie Cakes Napkins Protein Rich Snacks Eye Drops Nasal Spray Dry Mouth Lozenges Liquid IV/Electrolyte Packets Deputies said the facility will be open for donations Wednesday-Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm. Signs will be posted to direct donators to the drop off location. The Connestee Fire Rescue said donations are being accepted at Carsons Creek Baptist Church, 4727 Connestee Trail, Brevard, NC.
