Huge new RTE series wraps filming as star shares stunning behind the scenes snaps on last day
A HUGE new RTE series has wrapped filming with one of its stars giving fans a glimpse behind the scenes on the final day.

Set in their
hometown, The Walsh Sisters follows the lives of Anna, Rachel, Maggie, Claire and Helen as they navigate the peaks and troughs of their late 20s and 30s.

And it looks like filming for the highly anticipated series has officially wrapped.
Many of the crew members took to their
Actor Stefanie Preissner shared a picture of their personalised drinks menu from the wrap party and said: "Wrap party drinks."
There were three drink options on the menu - Sour Sisters, Rachel's Remedy and Mammies Margarita.

In February, RTE announced the lead cast members for the new comedy drama series, which is being directed by Ian FitzGibbon.

Derry Girls star Louisa Harland will be leading the cast as the troubled Anna Walsh while rising talent Caroline Menton takes on the role of the beloved sister Rachel.

The final Walsh sister will be played by Stefanie Preissner, who hasn't been seen on the small screen since her role as Ms. Steam Pipes in Finding Joy in 2018.
Stefanie is also one of the writers that was assigned to the project with writer and executive producer Kefi Chadwick.

The acting legend will be playing opposite his screen wife and eccentric Mammy Walsh - Smother star Carrie Crowley.
While American actress and personality Debi Mazar has signed up for the part of Chaquie.

He will play Rachel's complicated love interest Luke Costello.
Other cast members include Gina Moxley who will play Josephine and Samuel Anderson as Aidan - Anna's love interest.
