RPD: Teen shot on Ward Street, walked into RGH with life-threatening injuries
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 19-year-old is being treated for life-threatening injuries after a shooting that occurred on Ward Street in Rochester on Saturday afternoon.
The Rochester Police Department responded to Rochester General Hospital at around 1 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a male patient who had walked in with a gunshot wound.
Police said the victim was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle from Ward Street.
Officers proceeded to the scene of Ward Street between North Clinton and Emmett Street to investigate evidence of the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
