Ware man arrested for animal abuse, assault
WARE, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from Ware was arrested on Wednesday for alleged animal abuse and assaulting someone in his home. Controlled burn conducted in Ware for wildfire prevention The Ware Police Department states that 22-year-old Jose Lopez Jr had a warrant out for his arrest after an investigation. There's no word on what the specific charges are, however police say the animals in question are safe and no longer in his possession. Ware Police looking to identify armed robbery suspect
WARE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Ware Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery early Friday morning. Dirt bike stolen from Springfield dealership returned to owner after 20 years According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on Friday, April 11, at the Cumberland Farms located on West Street in Ware. Following the robbery, the suspect was last seen walking southbound on Palmer Road. East Longmeadow man arrested during traffic stop in Ware on firearm, drug charges
WARE, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from East Longmeadow has been arrested on various charges, including operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of drugs, after a traffic stop in Ware on Thursday. In a news release from the Ware Police Department, 33-year-old Geoffrey Ralls was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop and an inventory search inside the vehicle revealed a firearm, ammunition, and a variety of narcotics. Ware man sentenced to state prison for rape and assault Ralls is being held on $9,000 bail for the following charges: Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license Possession of Class E drugs Possession with intent to distribute Class B (cocaine) drugs Carry without a license loaded firearm Firearm violation with three prior violent crimes (firearm, unlawful carry) Firearm violation with three prior violent crimes (ammo, poss. without FID) On Friday, Ralls is scheduled to be arraigned in Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown. Hampshire County man featured on unsolved homicide playing card Michael Ross was last seen walking north on Greenwich Road around the Hardwick Winery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday before he was reported missing. Michael is described as being a white man, 5'5″ tall, weighs 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a red sox jacket, with a blue hoodie on.
