2024-25 Winter All-Met: Boys' swimming first team, second team, relays, honorable mention
The following student-athletes were selected to The Washington Post's 2024-25 All-Met team for boys' swimming and diving:
Griffin Oehler, So., Georgetown Prep
Oehler flashed his versatility throughout his sophomore year. He won the 200-yard individual medley (1 minute 47.32 seconds) and 100 backstroke (48.49) at the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Championships and won the 100 breaststroke at the Interstate Athletic Conference, Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swimming and Diving League and National Catholic championships with a best time of 55.41. At WMPSSDL, he claimed the 200 freestyle title in 1:37.64, one of just a handful of local swimmers to break 1:38 this season.
