LEGENDARY R&B group Boyz II Men recently lit up the Mega Star Arena with their timeless harmonies and emotional performances, treating a sold-out crowd to a powerful wave of nostalgia.
The American trio, comprising Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman, once again proved why they remain the undisputed kings of R&B, even decades after their 1990s heyday.
Organised by Shiraz Projects, the Boyz II Men Live in Kuala Lumpur concert attracted over 5,000 fans, including a special appearance by the Sultanah of Terengganu, Sultanah Nur Zahirah.
The evening kicked off with an energetic set by local DJ Skeletor, who had the crowd dancing well before the main act took the stage.
From the moment the group stepped into the spotlight, the arena erupted in cheers.
With their trademark smooth vocals and soulful delivery, Boyz II Men captivated fans with a setlist packed with hits, heartfelt moments, and touching tributes.
Opening with fan favourites like "Can't Let Her Go", "Don't Stop", "Water Runs Dry", "Cupid", and "Can You Stand the Rain", the group instantly transported the audience back to the golden age of 1990s R&B.
The crowd erupted during emotional renditions of "On Bended Knee" and "Hey Lover", the latter featuring an energetic and extended outro.
Other highlights of the night included stirring performances of "Please Don't Go", "Four Seasons of Loneliness", "Locked Out of Heaven", "Come Together", and "Purple Rain", along with an emotional tribute to music icons Prince, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston.
One of the most anticipated moments came when the group performed their iconic duet with Mariah Carey, "One Sweet Day", drawing the crowd into a unified sway across the venue.
The concert concluded with a romantic flourish as Boyz II Men performed "I'll Make Love to You", handing out roses to the crowd.
They followed it with their timeless anthem "End of the Road", bringing the night to a heartfelt close.
But just as fans thought it was over, the trio returned for a surprise encore of "Motownphilly", transforming the concert into a high-energy celebration.
After the concert, satisfied concertgoers flooded social media with praise, hailing it as a nostalgic R&B dream come true.
The setlist, stage presence, and emotional resonance made it a night to remember for fans both old and new.
Currently on their "Legacy of Love" world tour, Boyz II Men had already performed in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines before their Kuala Lumpur stop.
Following this concert, the band continued their tour to Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
This performance also marked their first in Malaysia since Dec 1, 2019, reaffirming their enduring legacy in the hearts of R&B lovers across the globe.
It was truly a celebration of timeless R&B hits and nostalgia, showcasing over 30 years of chart-topping songs and unforgettable music.
