Bus Service No. 65 connects Marina Mall to Al Reem Island, one of the busiest routes in Abu Dhabi. It serves as many as 6,000 passengers daily and covers more than 2,000km every day. By integrating green mobility into public transport, more people can be encouraged to be more mindful of their impact on the to Aletihad, Alicia Dauth, a water assurance and stewardship specialist at Water Security Collective, said: "The government's role in exploring and implementing advanced technologies, such as hydrogen and electric energy, is a bold way to promote and encourage green public transportation."This transport initiative is expected to cut 200 tonnes of carbon emissions daily, which is equivalent to removing 14,700 cars off the roads. "It's a major step towards a more sustainable future," Borhan said.
