Wayne CSD closing Monday due to water main break, boil water advisory in effect
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Wayne Central School District announced Sunday that its schools will be closed to students and staff Monday due to a water main break in the Town of Ontario.
According to town officials, the water main break was first noticed around 5 p.m. Saturday when the water system lost pressure.
A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for folks west of Knickerbocker Road until further notice as tests are conducted, though officials anticipated the advisory to last roughly three to four days.
