New Bedford man wins $1,000 a week for life prize on $5 scratch ticket
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WWLP) – A New Bedford man is the first $1,000 a week for life winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery's new '$1,000 a Week for Life' $5 instant ticket game. Berkley woman wins $1M on 'Lifetime Millions' instant ticket game Leigh Corbin chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $800,000, before taxes, and plans on investing and upgrading his apartment with his winnings. The ticket was purchased at America's Market on Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford. The store will be receiving a $10,400 bonus for its sale of the ticket. The '$1,000 a Week for Life' game was released on February 18th and has nine remaining chances to win its top prize.
