Caerphilly County Borough up for award for swim innovation
The department is a finalist in the best innovation category at the forthcoming Welsh Sports Association Sports Industry Awards 2025.
This recognition is for its ground-breaking use of SWIMTAG technology in leisure centres across the Caerphilly County Borough.
The technology has revolutionised swimming by offering users real-time performance tracking, personalised insights and gamification features.
This advancement has increased engagement and motivation among swimmers, creating a more inclusive and enjoyable environment.
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 12, at the Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff.
