Prison Break star Dominic Purcell is branded as UNRECOGNIZABLE as he debuts drastic transformation
A popular actor from the TV series Prison Break has completely changed his look... leaving longtime fans of the show stunned.
British-Australian actor Dominic Purcell is known for his role as Lincoln Burrows in the beloved prison series with Wentworth Miller.
Dominic, 55, was previously known for his clean-shave look paired with a buzzcut.
However, he was recently spotted with a very different appearance, and his drastic transformation has fans doing a double-take.
The actor recently posted a black and white snap of himself to Instagram.
Fans branded the star as 'unrecognizable' as he is now sporting a long, white beard and mustache.
His new look appears to be more recent, as the actor was still clean-shaven during his wedding to Miley Cyrus' mother, Tish Cyrus, in 2023.
Prison Break viewers were quick to rush to the comment section of his latest post to discuss his drastic change in appearance.
'OMG! Santa Claus is in the house,' a user joked.
'For a second, I didn't recognize you,' someone else said, while another wrote, 'Bro, you are unrecognizable.'
'He looks like a different man. Still [fire],' a different person shared.
'Nice Beard,' read a fifth comment.
'Rocking that beard, mate! Damn,' a sixth said.
However, a few fans didn't love the beard and said the actor 'needed a shave.'
There were also a handful of comments praising the series, as the actor wore a 'My Brother's Keeper' shirt — paying tribute to the title of season one, episode 16 of the show.
The show aired from 2005 until 2017, and now, it looks like Dominic, who resides in Tennessee, enjoys surfing and boxing.
The actor and Tish tied the knot after announcing their engagement in May 2023 following Tish's shock divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus in 2022.
It was an intimate affair with just 60 people attending the lavish ceremony, which was held in Tish's megastar daughter Miley's house in Malibu.
The couple was previously embroiled in scandal as it was previously reported that Tish's daughter Noah, 25, was angry at her mother for allegedly 'stealing' Dominic from her.
There have been differing reports about whether or not anything went on between Noah and Dominic before his romance with Tish.
People claimed they were 'seeing each other' and had 'hooked up' before he ended up marrying Tish.
It was reported that Noah was 'offended' when her mother married the Australian star, as per People.
'Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other, and then Tish started something up,' an insider told the publication.
'Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.'
Even though Noah and Dominic had stopped seeing each other when his relationship with Tish started, the insider added: 'Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.'
It has also been claimed by Entertainment Tonight that Tish 'hired security' to keep Noah away from the wedding.
