Freshman faceoff specialist Greyson Hathway entered the game ten faceoff wins short of the New York state record for wins in a season and easily blew by that number. The Mustangs are now 20-2 after their sixth straight win. They will play for the Class C state title Saturday at Hobart against Chenango Forks from Binghamton's Section IV. Faceoff is scheduled for 12:30pm. Class A West Genesee 16, Penfield 6 Harrison Easton got the first goal of the game for Penfield, but West Genny reeled off the next ten and held the Patriots scoreless for 25 minutes to make the second half of this state semifinal academic.
