The most recent shooting occurred Thursday just before 4 p.m. in the area of 450 New Park Ave. where officers responded on a report of gunshots being heard, according to Capt. Aaron Vafiades of the West Hartford Police Department. Police found that a nearby building was struck by gunfire, though no one came forward and reported being shot, Vafiades said.
