Fatal crash in Pubnico, N.S., under investigation
A fatal crash in Pubnico, N.S. is being investigated by Yarmouth Rural RCMP.
Police along with fire services and EHS responded to a call of a single vehicle crash near Cross Road on Highway 335 shortly after 12 a.m. on May 30.
Officers learned a GMC Sierra left the roadway, coming to rest in a ditch, a release said.
The 18-year-old male driver, from West Pubnico, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 21-year-old man, from Lower West Pubnico suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS.
A collision reconstructionist visited the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
