Third arrest in Shipley murder investigation
A 68-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Shipley. A 43-year-old man was found dead at a property on Stead Street on Tuesday after officers received a report of "concern for safety", according to West Yorkshire Police.A man was arrested on Thursday night and remained in police custody, a force spokesperson said.A woman, 54, and a man, 65, who had been arrested earlier on suspicion of murder had been bailed pending further inquiries, a force spokesperson said. Murder arrests after man found dead in Shipley
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 43-year-old man was found dead at a property in were called to premises on Stead Street at about 09:30 BST on Tuesday after concerns were raised about a man's safety, according to West Yorkshire Police.A 64-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the discovery and remained in custody, a spokesperson said. A post-mortem examination would take place later, they added. Woman jailed over Leeds Harehills disorder
A woman has been jailed for 28 months after admitting taking part in street disorder in Leeds last Doherty, 34, of Ascott Terrace, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on Friday after earlier pleading guilty to violent was the seventh person to be given a custodial sentence after trouble flared in the Harehills area on 18 July, according to West Yorkshire Police.A total of 68 people had been arrested as part of a major investigation into the disorder, with 19 of those since charged with offences, a force spokesperson said. Speaking after the hearing, Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Steve Dodds said: "Our investigation into the appalling disorder in Harehills last summer continues at a pace, as demonstrated by the number of arrests our officers have made."Doherty admitted carrying out some serious offending on the evening of 18 July and we are glad she has been before the courts and convicted." Man stabbed in 'attempted murder' in Almondbury, police say

Bradford police officer assaulted after car fails to stop
