Westlife Foodworld's Q4 FY25 revenue rises 7.3%, EBITDA grows 3.2%
New Delhi: Westlife Foodworld , McDonald's restaurants operator in West and South India, on Wednesday, has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, more than doubling from Rs 0.76 crore in the same period last year. However, this marked a sequential decline from Rs 7.01 crore in the December 2024 quarter, according to a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 603.14 crore, rising 7 per cent year-on-year from Rs 562.28 crore in Q4 FY24. Sequentially, however, revenue dropped by 8 per cent compared to the Rs 653.71 crore clocked in Q3 FY25. Total expenses during the quarter increased to Rs 611.76 crore, up from Rs 565.51 crore in Q4 FY24. The rise was driven by higher material and employee costs. For the full year FY25, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.15 crore, sharply down from Rs 69.21 crore in FY24. The drop in annual profit comes despite a 4 per cent rise in revenue from operations, which grew to Rs 2,491.19 crore from Rs 2,391.81 crore last year. Annual expenses rose to Rs 2,502.62 crore from Rs 2,314.43 crore in FY24, impacting the bottom line. Key cost drivers included material costs (Rs 745.28 crore) and other expenses (Rs 1,066.27 crore), both of which saw year-on-year increases. Profit before tax for FY25 came in at Rs 13.05 crore, significantly lower than Rs 95.84 crore reported in FY24.
