WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — The Wichita Falls Farmers Market will host their 'Color Me 'Egg-Cited' Easter Celebration' this Saturday, April 19, at 807 Austin St. The celebration will go from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., with activities and fun throughout the morning. Wichita Falls Farmers Market feeling lucky with themed market
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Some lucky energy was felt at the Wichita Falls Farmers Market Saturday morning for their Lucky Market event! The theme was all about Saint Patrick's so many vendors featured Saint Patrick's related products from leprechaun clover pretzels, to green leprechaun cookies, and even green bread! In addition to the food vendors, there was also a kids club where the kids got to color shamrocks, coin hunt, face paint, and see Archi the baby goat from RawRoots Farm. Market Manager for the Wichita Falls Farmers Market, Gabriele Poenitzsch, says having themed events is great because it keeps people eager to come out. 'These events are different from our Saturday market with our theme. Once we go big and beyond, we bring in outside nonprofits to do stuff with us. We bring in local chefs to do stuff with us,' Poenitzsch says, 'at our market, we support both artisans and farmers. We love to see our customers come out. We love to see it packed in here because we know that the community is supporting our local businesses in Wichita falls. It keeps the dollars local here, and it keeps the community thriving.' If you missed out on this market, the Wichita Falls Farmers Market is open every Saturday. Coming up on March 29th 2025, the market will have their themed Pepper Garden event featuring garden vendors and a kids club where they'll make their own seed starter.
