The Chase's Jenny Ryan 'thrilled' as she lands new job away from show

The Chase star Jenny Ryan has landed a new job away from the quiz show.
Jenny joined the hit ITV gameshow as The Vixen back in 2015 after being recommended by co-star Anne Hegerty.
Now, she is stepping into a new role as part of an upcoming pantomime at The Wyvern Theatre in Swindon.
Jenny will played Wicked Fairy Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty, alongside David Ashley and comedy actor Ben Goffe, who was recently nominated for Best Comic at the UK Pantomime Association Awards.
"When the Wicked Fairy Carabosse's evil curse causes the Princess to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into an enchanted sleep, can anyone rescue her from the magical slumber before it is too late?" reads the official synopsis for the production.

Sleeping Beauty will run from December 6, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
The Wyvern Theatre announced the exciting news on its official Instagram page on Wednesday (May 14).
Alongside a poster of the leading cast, the caption read: "We're thrilled to announce that The Chase's @jenny_from_the_quiz will star as the wicked fairy Carabosse in our spellbinding family pantomime, Sleeping Beauty alongside Swindon panto royalty David Ashley and comedy actor @bengoffe, back by popular demand! Bring on the fun and laughter!!"
Following the announcement, Jenny shared her excitement in a statement, saying: "I am thrilled to be coming to Swindon this Christmas to appear in Sleeping Beauty. I have heard how wonderful Wyvern Theatre audiences are so I can't wait to get started.
"I know that we are going to have a lot of panto fun and I look forward to hearing everyone booing loudly!"
Sleeping Beauty isn't Jenny's first panto, as she previously starred in Crewe's Christmas production of Beauty and the Beast, as well as Snow White and The Wizard of Oz.
As well as appearing on The Chase, Jenny is also a regular guest on BBC Radio 5 Live's Fighting Talk.
She's also featured on a number of reality favourites, including Celebrity MasterChef, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Blankety Blank, Celebrity Catchphrase and Beat the Chasers.
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV1 at 5pm
