These soups were sold in retail and institutional locations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. However, the FSIS expects this alert to expand, which may result in a nationwide impact.
Check your refrigerator or freezer for these products, and if you have any on hand, dispose of them or return them to your place of purchase for a possible refund. This safety alert was announced after the cilantro used in the soups was recalled for containing wood fragments. If you are experiencing any signs of illness or injury after consuming one of the recalled soups, consult with your health care provider.
