Video Of Crazy Tow Truck Incident Goes Viral Because, As Noted, It's Crazy
A broken axle on a sedan led to perhaps the craziest towing video in recent memory. On Monday afternoon, after a Saab broke down on the Interstate 610 loop in Texas, the driver called his girlfriend for help towing the vehicle as they could not afford a towing company, according to ABC Houston affiliate KTRK TV. The couple apparently decided to tow the vehicle using a chain, but, at some point, an axel on the Saab broke, causing it to swerve back and forth between various freeway lanes, according to CBS affiliate KHOU TV. 'It was like err err, like losing control, I heard when his tire blew out, just lots of swerving,' Ken Collins, who witnessed the terrifying tow job, told the station. TikTok user @cindyibarra22 posted a video showing how Mr. Tow's Wild Ride looked from a Houston office building. Video taken by X account @StormChaserHTX shows how the swerving looked to drivers on the road. Spoiler alert: It's terrifying. According to Collins, the two cars eventually stopped on a feeder road and a woman came out of the SUV while a man exited the blue Saab. 'It was crazy, I thought they was [about to] fight, I thought he was going to jump on the driver. He was yelling at the lady, he hit his hood,' Collins said. Although the woman was trying to talk to the man, Collins said, 'He didn't want to hear nothing of it. He was like, 'you messed up my car, you [messed] up my car.'' Collins is still perplexed why the two drivers decided to pull the Saab from the back. 'Normally, on a chain you pull a car from the front but that's my only thought. Why did they pull it from the back, especially on the freeway?' he said. 'It looked like a scene from ′Fast & Furious,''David Chairez, who was driving with a co-worker when they saw the terrifying tow job, told KTRK. 'That was very reckless, and that was very dangerous.' To make matters worse, Chairez said the woman driving the SUV appeared to be laughing throughout the incident, adding, 'To see something like this, this is not normal.' Although the incident definitely caused traffic issues, Houston Police did not cite either driver for their method of vehicle towing. The man was arrested for an active warrant from Georgia, according to KTRK TV.

Chet Hanks Recreates Tom Cruise's Viral Couch Jump Moment Nearly 20 Years Later: 'Something That I've Always Wanted to Do'
Chet Hanks made his first-ever talk show appearance a memorable one. The actor, who stars as bad boy basketball player Travis Bugg in Running Point, stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, March 18 and made a hilarious move in ode to Tom Cruise. "This is my first time on a talk show ever," he told a shocked Drew Barrymore before unveiling that there was "something that I've always wanted to do" and asking if he could do it. "It's only gonna work if you guys cheer really loud. You gotta scream, you gotta lose your minds or else I'm gonna look stupid," he told the audience, who he said he would "need" to make his plan work. When Chet — who is the oldest son of Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson — jumped down from the couch, he also got on one knee and shook his arm in celebration, just like Cruise did in the viral clip. "Okay, that was good," he said as he sat back down next to an excited Barrymore, before asking the audience, "Do you guys get the reference?" "Oh my God, Tom Cruise? Yes, of course!" she said. "Oh, I love it!" Related: Inside Chet Hanks' Wild Ride — and How He Finally Found Peace (Exclusive) Hanks' reenactment comes just shy of the 20th anniversary of Cruise's infamous moment, where he brought out his then-girlfriend Holmes from backstage after gushing about her to host Oprah Winfrey. "I'm in love. And it's one of these things, you wanna be cool. That's not me. I admired her and I thought I wanted to meet her. And I called her," he said during the May 23, 2005 interview, calling Holmes, who he'd later marry within the year, "an extraordinary woman.' After making a splash with his entrance on the show, Chet and Barrymore bonded about their shared experiences getting sober amid addiction issues, with the host celebrating five years sober while he shared that he's three-and-a-half years sober. "I just really am so grateful for where I'm at, where we're all at, the things I've got going in my life, all the beautiful people in my life, my relationships, my loved ones. I've gotten the point where I fully understand that those are the most important things, by far, and everything else is like a bonus." He also said that his parents have "always been super supportive" which has meant a lot. "I don't take it for granted. I'm really, really grateful for both my parents and I just.. I'm at the age where I'm just like, I'm really grateful for them, I really cherish the time that I spend with them. They've stuck with me through thick and thin," he said.
