1 charged in connection with Franklin County house fire that killed 2 teens
FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Frankfort man has been charged with arson after a deadly fire killed two Franklin County teens. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office hosted a news conference on Thursday to give an update on a fire investigation. 2 teenagers killed in Franklin County house fire The sheriff's office said 44-year-old Dustin Fields is charged with first-degree arson and has been lodged in the Franklin County regional jail. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office told FOX 56 that crews were called to the scene around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday. They found a house across the creek in flames. Officials said two teenage boys were found dead inside, and no one else was in the home. Death investigation underway after 2 bodies found following Frankfort house fire
FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Franklin County Coroner's Office said a death investigation is underway after two bodies were recovered from a residence on Flat Creek Road on Wednesday after a fire. Just after 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, Franklin County Coroner Will Harrod said in a news release that two people were recovered from an early morning fire on Wednesday at a residence on Flat Creek Road in Frankfort. Initial autopsies were performed on Wednesday, but final results will not be available for 16 to 20 weeks, the coroner said.
