Originally appeared on E! Online No lies—you can soon get up close and personal with the stars of Poker Face. Join E! News' Will Marfuggi and Erin Lim Rhodes at the Los Angeles premiere of the Peacock crime dramedy's second season May 1. In addition to star Natasha Lyonne and series creator Rian Johnson, guest stars such as Justin Theroux, Katie Holmes, B.J. Novak, John Mulaney and Cynthia Erivo are among those joining in to celebrate during the E! @ Poker Face Season Two Premiere livestream event, which kicks off at 7 p.m. PT. On Poker Face, which debuted in 2023, Lyonne plays Charlie Cale, a casino worker who solves murders and other crimes across the United States due to her extraordinary ability to tell when people are lying. Season two sees her back on the road, and back on the run from the crime bosses pursuing her. "I think that, like so many male characters we've seen historically, she's somebody that's actually up to what she's up to," Lyonne told Parade in an interview published April 23. "She's taking a ride across America. She's on the run from the law. It was her best friend that got her in that trouble. And now she's back for Season 2." More from E!
