Sophie Turner supports ex-husband Joe Jonas with major shout-out for his new album after bitter divorce

Sophie Turner hints at where she stands with her ex-husband Joe Jonas, less than two years after their contentious separation. In a new Instagram post, the actress put any bitterness behind her by showing support for Joe's new album when she shared an image of Music For People Who Believe In Love on Saturday. Joe and Sophie got married on May 1, 2019, and had two daughters Willa and Delphine. In September 2023, he filed for divorce, which plunged them into a bitter legal battle. SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO Sophie shared a link to the album and captioned her post: 'Go, go, Joe Jonas.' Sophie and Joe began dating in 2016 and got engaged in October 2017. Their divorce was finalized in September 2024. Joe recently gave some insight into what he felt was the scariest part of divorce during a TalkShopLive stream on May 21. He spoke about his album's track Only Love when he said: 'I was seeing somebody at the time and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. 'It was really scary and intimidating. Love takes different shapes and forms and I was rediscovering what that was.' Joe recalled that someone he was dating - who he did not name - dismissed his fears and told him: 'Well, it's only love.' Joe said: 'I was like, "Well, when you put it that way…" So we wrote a song about it. Like, it was not a big deal, but it was a big deal to me, and a big deal to them, too. 'But it's OK to take a leap of faith and just try again and put yourself out there.' During the divorce process, Joe and Sophie underwent a custody battle over their daughters and had disagreements over where the kids would reside full-time. At one point, the British-born actress filed a child abduction claim against Joe, but later asked that the judge dismiss it. Sophie told Harper's Bazaar: 'We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard.' The actress added how she was 'so happy to be back' in the UK and before returning, she explained that it had felt like her 'life was on pause'. During an interview with British Vogue, Sophie spoke about the effect of having a public divorce: 'I mean, those were the worst few days of my life. I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn't leave. 'My kids were in the [U.S.], and I couldn't get to them because I had to finish [filming the drama] Joan. And all these articles started coming out...'
