Macon Co. authorities examine digital records, wait for test results after couple found dead in home
FORSYTH, Ill. (WCIA) — Authorities in Macon County continue to investigate after a husband and wife were found dead in their Forsyth home on June 2.
WCIA previously reported that an autopsy found that William and Lorie Frame of Forsyth died from a single gunshot wound each. And, the Sheriff's Office previously said they did not believe a danger existed to the community.

Now, the Macon County Sheriff's Office has shared that detectives are extracting information from multiple devices like cell phones and computers. The Illinois State Police Crime Lab is also examining forensic evidence — which can take several weeks or months to complete according to the sheriff's office.
'Our office is dedicated to determine exactly what happened inside their home that ultimately led to their deaths. Unfortunately, in cases such as this where there are no known witnessdetectives must examine a large amount of evidence and interview multiple people to find outwhat happened and to make sure nothing was overlooked,' the sheriff's office said in a news release. 'We thank all those involved with the investigation for their hard work and ask for patience from the public and the Frame family who are looking for answers.'
The sheriff's office said that this remains an active investigation, and that no further information will be released at this time.
