The Hills star Jason Wahler becomes a dad for the third time

Jason Wahler has become a dad for the third time. The 38-year-old reality star has been married to stylist Ashley Slack since 2013 and already has Delilah Ray, seven, as well as three-year-old Wyatt with her, but the couple have now announced that they welcomed son August into the world last Thursday (08.05.25) afternoon. Ashley told People: "Jason, the kids and I are doing great and so excited that our family finally feels complete. "The kids are literally obsessed with their new little brother. Delilah thinks it's actually her own baby. "They have truly been the best little helpers. "I'm so grateful for the incredible care at Williamson Health and my doctor, Heather Rupe, for providing the best experience for delivery." When the couple welcomed their "beautiful, healthy" son in July 2021, Jason gushed about the delivery process and noted that he had the "utmost respect" for his wife after witnessing her give birth. He said: "It was one of the most incredible experiences to deliver him into the world. "I have the utmost respect for my wife Ashley, who did an absolutely incredible job through the birthing process, as well as all the other mothers who have the same strength in creating life. "We can't wait to raise them both the best we can. I can't wait to be involved in Wyatt's life the way my dad was in mine, and I hope to have the same bond I share with him. I can't wait to be his coach and for him to be my wingman and mini-me." Jason - who is also known for his appearances on 'Laguna Beach' - preoivusly struggled with addiction and later admitted that he felt really "grateful" to have achieved sobriety in time for fatherhood. He told UsWeekly: "I mean, I've done so much work on myself, and I feel like I'm really equipped and I'm really, you know, grateful. … When I was younger, and when I went through what I went through, there was not nearly the resources or the accessibility that there is today. And I've got some amazing mentors and people around me to help navigate those conversations

Williamson County Ag Expo Park serves as major economic driver

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Between hosting the Williamson County Fair to the annual Franklin Rodeo, the Williamson County Ag Expo Park remains a major economic driver in the county, attracting roughly 350,000 visitors each year. The facility's director, Kenny Wallace, is a native to the area and remembers the Ag Expo opening its doors back in 2001. As he prepares to retire this month, he's worked to create a facility that remains close to its roots. 'When I was raised on our farm, the big deal was coming to Franklin on a Saturday afternoon, that was a big deal. People my age still remember those days. So, it was built on agriculture, we want to continue that,' Wallace said. Williamson Health expands to meet needs of growing community Each year, the grounds host roughly 50 major events, as well as serving as home to the Williamson County UT Ag Extension and local 4H programs 'It takes a lot of work to maintain, a lot of grass is cut here, we do not contract any of that out, we do it all in house,' Wallace added. 'Everything we do here, we do in house.' The facility is free to use for schools and government activities and serves as training grounds for local volunteer firefighters and law enforcement. However, it also works to remain self-sufficient based on funds brought in by visitors. 'We do not have a huge staff here and we do not operate on a large budget. We have a great return on investment here, anywhere from $15 to 20 million in economic impact [per year],' Wallace said. 'And that is money that comes in here that the taxpayers don't have to fork over.' However, it's important to Wallace that the 100-acres remains rooted in agriculture and serves the community. 'We have the crown jewel of Williamson County right here, it is a great, great location, we have the best location in Williamson County and the city of Franklin,' he said. 'We're right here beside the interstate, a lot has grown up around us. I see no reason why we should ever, ever get rid of the ownership of this facility to someone else because we do a lot of good for our community.' Wallace invited everyone to attend this year's upcoming Franklin Rodeo, taking place May 15 through 17. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Williamson Health to host a blood drive for Heart Health Month

In support of Heart Health Month, Williamson Health and the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee are hosting a drive to increase their supply of blood platelets and plasma. In 1964, then-President Lyndon B. Johnson designated February as American Heart Month in order to bring more awareness to heart disease, one of the leading causes of deaths in the U.S. 'We are still experiencing winter shortages and are in critical need for donations,' said Brooke Katz, spokesperson for Blood Assurance. 'Please consider spreading the love this National Heart Month by donating blood to save lives.' On Feb. 18 from 11a.m.-5 p.m., at 3000 Edward Curd Lane, participants can help increase the life-saving supply that helps those who are suffering from illnesses that often require blood transfusions. Blood donors who give between Feb. 15-28 will be automatically entered to win a $500 e-gift card for spring break. One winner will be randomly selected and contacted March 5. Additionally, O-negative whole blood and AB plasma donors will receive a $25 e-gift card. Winners can choose from over 90 retailers, and e-gift cards will be sent to the email address listed on the donor's profile. Walk-ins are welcome but donors are encouraged to sign up a head of time. Those interested in donating must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with parental consent), weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good health. Donors are asked to drink plenty of fluids — avoiding caffeine — and eat a meal that is rich in iron prior to donating.
