Elderly resident missing from Hutsonville senior living facility
CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — An elderly man, diagnosed with Dementia, has been reported missing from the Heritage of Hutsonville, a senior living facility where he is a resident.
According to the Crawford County Illinois Sheriff's Office, Willie J. Moore has been reported missing from the facility since 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 27.
Moore is described as an African American male, 68 years old, with salt and pepper hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved black shirt and black shoes. The facility also advised the sheriff's department that Moore was carrying a stack of papers with him and has also been known to attempt to hitchhike and typically asks to go to Champaign or Danville.

The sheriff's office said Moore is a veteran who typically uses a cane but does not currently have one with him. He has also been diagnosed with Dementia and was last seen walking westbound towards Route 1 in Hutsonville.
