Bella Hadid launches 'revolutionary' fragrance in UK
'Ôrəbella isn't just any new celebrity fragrance. Apart from marking supermodel/entrepreneur Bella Hadid 's scent debut, it comes with a bold statement: to 'revolutionise' the fragrance category.
How so? Her 'transformative fragrance brand' is a 'pioneer in the 'skinification' of fragrance… 'reimagining parfum as part of your skincare ritual', we're told.
The essential oil fine fragrance comes with a 'skin-loving base for a nourishing, long-lasting, sensorial experience'.
And now for the 'groundbreaking' bit. The 'skin parfum collection', 'changes how we experience scent, blends clean, vegan, and alcohol-free perfume with skincare-quality ingredients for fragrances that hydrate and cater to sensitive skin'.
Created in conjunction with category specialists Firmenich and Robertet, brand's innovative bi-phase formula is designed to be shaken to fuse two layers before being spraying directly onto skin.
A nourishing base layer is powered by the brand's proprietary alcohol-free 'Ôrəlixir' base, featuring hydrating snow mushroom and a blend of five moisturising oils (camellia, almond, olive, jojoba, and shea). The second layer contains aromatherapeutic essential oils and responsibly-sourced fine fragrance ingredients 'that uplift mood and energy'.
The all-day-wear collection features four genderless fragrances: Window2Soul, a sheer floral scent comprised of a faceted rose and jasmine bouquet with accents of fresh lemon contrasted with tonka bean; Salted Muse, a woody marine containing sea salt and pink pepper with an olive tree accord plus a lavender twist at the heart, finished with woods and crisp amber; Blooming Fire, a warm floral solar scent with Tahitian monoi flower and patchouli and bergamot; and Nightcap, a 'warm and spicy aphrodisiac' with ginger, cardamom spice, vanilla and rich woods.
All scents come housed in a sculptural geode (a geological secondary formation) bottle, inspired by raw earth and shaped to sit in the palm of the hand.
Three Skin Perfume sizes are priced £32 (10ml) £67 (50ml) and £95 (100ml) plus a Parfum Discovery Set (£15).
'Ôrəbella debuts in the UK exclusively at all Selfridges stores on 15 May with the London flagship hosting an immersive experience from 15-28 May in a pop-up space. It will then roll out to additional distribution points from September.
