Winnie Harlow cements her model status as she flaunts her jaw-dropping figure in skimpy black bikini for sizzling beach snaps
Winnie Harlow sent temperatures soaring on Monday, as she stripped to her bikini and hit the beach for an eye-popping impromptu photoshoot. The Canadian model, 30, took to her Instagram to shares a slew of striking snaps as she posed up a storm in a tiny black two-piece, that showcased her svelte figure. Her very skimpy swimwear left little to the imagination, exposing her model long legs and chiselled midriff, while barely containing her ample cleavage. Winnie soaked in the sunshine on a deckchair on the sand, while sipping from a coconut, sweeping her fiery curls into a stylish updo. Despite her day of relaxation, the stunner ensured she still looked her best, accentuating her perfect pout with a slick of pink lipgloss and sporting a stylish pair of aviator-style glasses. She also donned two chunky chain necklaces, a silver tennis bracelet and her watch, with her biggest accessory being her giant diamond engagement ring, after longtime boyfriend Kyle Kuzma proposed in February. The Canadian model, 30, took to her Instagram to shares a slew of striking snaps as she posed up a storm in a tiny black two-piece, that showcased her svelte figure While catching several rays, Winnie took the opportunity to top her suncream and promote her own brand, Cay Skin, which she launched in 2022. She also showed herself reapplying her SPF in the changing rooms, with a sweet video that showed a group of women praising her on her beauty, before recognising her to be the famous model. The Victoria's Secret star was inspired to create the collection after suffering a severe sunburn several years ago while modelling, because the photographer didn't want her reapply any sunscreen that would give her skin a blue tint. She recalled to Allure in 2022: 'By the second day [of the shoot] I was so burned, doctors had to come [because of] the pain and inflammation. 'I didn't realize how passionate I was about [sun care] until I had that experience, so I decided to create Cay Skin.' Winnie added: 'I wanted to squash that whole narrative that Black people don't need sunscreen. It's not true at all. Like, yes we do. No one's melanin is enough to protect them from the sun's rays.' She insisted: 'Sun care is skin care and Cay Skin is for everyone under the sun.' Winnie previously confessed she was 'never supposed to be a model' due to her Vitiligo, but has gone on to have a huge career in the industry and become the first person with the condition to ever walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway. In 2023, she recalled working at La Senza and looking at the models wishing she could do what they were doing, as she reflected on how much she'd achieved. She told ET Canada: 'It's funny to me now that I've actually created a lane for myself in this industry that there was never a lane set. 'People will be like, she's already a model because of her skin. I'm like, Well, it was actually the opposite. I was never supposed to be a model because of my skin. 'I've actually fought against that but I'm like oh… you must think my skin is beautiful now, which nobody thought before. So, you know, it's a double-edged sword, but there's beauty in it.' Winnie said she hopes to continue breaking down barriers for other people with the condition who dream of becoming a model. She said: 'I think the biggest challenge today would be still breaking down those doors that, God bless, I was able to push down those doors to walk through. 'But keeping those doors open for others to walk through… making sure that it isn't just tokenism. Everyone is able to.' Her beach day comes just a few months after the America's Next Top Model revealed she is set to walk down the aisle with fiancé Kyle, 29. The basketball player popped the question on February 13 with a dazzling 8.5-carat, oval-cut diamond ring, which he spent three months designing himself. He asked Winnie to be his wife while they were on a private plane heading off on holiday in the Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean. Filling the plane with red roses, balloons, chocolate and champagne, Kyle then read her a poem he had written, before getting down on one knee. And in an extra special surprise, once on the Caribbean island, their families were waiting for them to celebrate the proposal, with dinner on the beach and a fireworks display. Winnie gushed to Vogue magazine that the couple were 'over the moon' to be engaged, admitting she was caught completely by surprise. 'But I'm also not the type of person who wants to guess or wants to spoil a surprise. So it just was a fleeting thought in my head.' The lovebirds first started dating in 2020, with Winnie then moving from New York City to Los Angeles to be with Kyle, who played for the L.A. Lakers at the time. The athlete has now moved to join the Milwaukee Bucks, with Winnie often spotted at his basketball games cheering him on from courtside seats.

The True Cost of Tariffs
Talk about tariffs has been filling newspapers, websites, airwaves, boardrooms, factory floors and dinner tables for a while, but reality is just starting to sink in now. What are the true costs of tariffs, and who is going to be paying for them? [To listen to the podcast, ] More from WWD Louis Vuitton Has Bumped Up Handbag Prices in the U.S. Winnie Harlow Highlights the Connection Between Fashion and Motorsport Culture With eBay The Gentlewoman Fetes 1995 Zine Launch at Bicester Village While many brands and retailers have already decoupled at least part of their supply chains from China after the last round of tariffs, they're finding that other countries aren't such safe havens either. With current tariffs on Chinese imports standing at a whopping 145 percent, and universal tariffs on most countries at 10 percent, rising prices seem to be an inevitability. Some of those additional costs will be absorbed by the brand, some will be renegotiated with suppliers and some will be passed along to the consumer. The exact ratios will vary by company and even product on a case basis, but one truth remains: the impacts will be hardest on small businesses. Here, Ian Fredericks, president and CEO of Hilco Consumer-Retail, chats with Lauren Parker, director, Fairchild Studio, about how tariff worries — real and perceived — are affecting shopping behavior, inventory and pricing, and how the industry can best prepare. 'What I'm really focused on [with clients] is maximizing liquidity,' Fredericks said. 'You know, your working capital borrowing facility to be able to weather this storm. And that's requiring some very nuanced discussions, especially where clients have a borrowing-based formula where they borrow based on how much inventory they have, or how much in credit card receivables or other receivables they may have. I want to help them understand how different decisions that they might make — whether it's around raising prices, discounting, bringing in inventory — how the tariffs are going to impact their cost of goods, what the impact is going to be on their gross margin percentage, and then what's the impact going to be on their cost factor.' F1 Miami's Secret World of Cars and Couture
The fashion and automotive worlds are closer-knit than you may imagine at first. It wouldn't be unfair to say that the two would be significantly different in our modern times without the other's existence. I was recently invited by the folks at eBay to attend the F1 Miami Grand Prix, not only to experience one of racing's most historic events, but also to experience it from that fashion-tinted lens. On the first full day of our adventure, we were greeted by a very Miami-spec 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, complemented by model and motorsport enthusiast Winnie Harlow. This served not just as a flex for eBay's lineup of pre-loved luxury fashion, but also as our crash course into that aforementioned affair between cars and fashion. Cars are, inherently, attractive. Teams of professional designers meticulously work on sculpting the curves, shapes, materials, and colors of a car to portray a certain "vibe," if you will. A truck is meant to be a tough-looking machine, so oversized touches like a grille are commonplace. A luxury car gives off a suave aura, with flowing curves, thin lights, and a low-slung body. That's not too far from the way fashion designers look at clothes. Think of the stylistic differences between a tight-fitting, curvy nightdress and the loose, airy feel of basketball shorts. They each serve different purposes but go through equal research and design phases to ensure they perform the way customers expect. Automakers have long recognized this connection and sought to bridge the gap between the two fan bases with limited edition cars that prominently featured some kind of fashion connection. Back in the 1950s, the Dodge La Femme was a car specifically made for women, and although that's wildly sexist by modern standards, the included purse, lipstick, mirror, and other similar accessories showed an early recognition of the connection between cars and fashion. Fast forward a few decades, and AMC collaborated with denim maker Levi's for limited denim versions of their AMC Gremlin and Jeep models. Back in 2012, Stellantis dropped the Fiat 500 by Gucci featuring Jennifer Lopez. "Okay, but what about F1?" You scream at me from the rafters. That's where liveries come in. Although they're not inherently made to be fashionable, each team must create a livery that fans immediately associate with that team and properly highlights their sponsors at the same time. What does that entail, then? The livery has to be unique, with bold colors that stand out from the rest. Some teams may opt to incorporate a major sponsor's logo in such a prominent way that it instantly becomes part of their identity. Think of the way the Red Bull cars make the bull such a large part of their design. And how do fashion designers make their pieces stand out? Some do go the bold colors and designs route, a la Versace, while others make a prominent logo feature their entire identity, like Louis Vuitton or Balenciaga. Then there are those who have proudly carried the same color scheme for eons, such as Gucci's green and red combo. Then, of course, there's the crowd at the races. The rule seems to be that the more expensive the ticket, the more extravagant the dress code. Head into the suites or The Paddock Club, and you might find it hard to distinguish between being at an F1 race and attending the New York Fashion Week. Dresses and suits that rival the prices of Honda Civics are commonplace, and when the race is over, they'll be whisked away in something that matches both their style and net worth. It might seem like a stretch at first, but once you really start looking deeper into it, you'll recognize the inherent connection between cars and the world of fashion. Even in Formula 1, where the focus seems to be primarily on racing, this connection is more than obvious in every corner of the sport. It wouldn't be an understatement to say that the two couldn't exist without each other, as both would be a lot more dull and uninspired. The next time you're at any sort of automotive event, take a look around you and try to find the connection between the two media. You might find that it's been there the whole time.
