Washington's most outrageous MAGA correspondent Natalie Winters dishes on dating in DC: ‘Most men are gay'
Washington's MAGA 'It Girl' correspondent, Natalie Winters, is dishing the dirt on dating in DC after President Trump swept into office — and she's claiming 'most men' who run in the capital's political power circles are gay. 'I think most men are gay in DC — either out or closeted depending on whether they're Democrats or Republicans,' the 24-year-old White House correspondent for Steve Bannon's 'War Room' told the Times of London. Winters also had some eye-opening details on some of the men she and her friends meet in Washington, DC. 'Because I'm such a great investigative reporter, my girlfriends hit me up to investigate the guys they go on dates with,' she said. 'The stuff I found out is insane: married, people who claimed to own multiple properties. One said they had eight rentals, a hunting cabin, 500 acres, a mill town home and many restaurants, and it turned out they actually lived in a housing estate like Section 8,' she added. As for Winters, who recently bought a house of her own, she teased that she may be off the market. 'I want to marry someone who allows me to protect feminine energy in a world that is forcing me to be a girl boss because they keep sending Steve [Bannon] to prison. Perhaps I have …' she said, before trailing off. Winters, who had her membership application for the prestigious National Press Club in DC denied last month, delights in flouting the conventions on Capitol Hill. During dinner at the swanky Waldorf Astoria, Winters is complimented on her denim hotpants by an admirer from Texas who said she had wanted to wear something similar but was told the dress code was more formal. 'Oh, you should have worn it,' Winters said in reply. 'That's why you have to do it even more.' As a young woman in politics, Winters said she is used to not getting taken seriously. 'When anyone covers me, they talk as if I've just sprung up because of my miniskirts,' she said, adding that they forget about her years of reporting at 'War Room' — which is a must-listen for the MAGA faithful working in Washington. Despite her reputation as a wild young disrupter, in reality, Winters lives a strictly controlled lifestyle. She doesn't drink, doesn't consume seed oils, doesn't wear perfume and barely ever eats carbs, she told the Times. 'I just don't like eating carbs like that. I like to eat stuff that gives me glowing skin. If it's not gonna give me glowing skin, then it's not worth it,' she said. For now, Winters continues to be a scourge of 'the Libs' in Washington and a close ally to Bannon, the former White House adviser to President Trump and trail blazer in the MAGA movement.

The Young and the Restless June 4 Episode Recap: Kyle Signs Victor's Contract, Audra Pushes for Party Invite
On the June 4 episode of The Young and the Restless, Kyle Abbott took a major step with Victor Newman. At the Newman ranch, Victor agreed to Kyle's proposal, but made him sign a contract with tough conditions. The agreement stated that if Kyle hurt Claire Newman, he would owe Victor USD 5 million and have to leave town. Although Kyle initially wanted his lawyer to review the contract, Victor's pressure led him to sign it without legal help. Kyle hoped this commitment would show Victor that he's more than just Jack Abbott's son. Audra Charles spent much of the episode dealing with Victor's growing impatience. She had planned lunch with Amy Lewis but rushed to meet Victor after he demanded a meeting. Victor criticized her for not doing enough to break up Kyle and Claire. Audra argued that it takes time, but Victor told her to act fast before his trip to France. She later suggested getting Kyle away from Claire by taking him to Aristotle Dumas' upcoming party. She convinced Victor to help her secure two invites, promising she would handle the rest. After being fired by Aristotle Dumas, Damian Kane met with Lily Winters at the GCAC. He asked if Holden Novak could get a job at Winters. Lily agreed to talk to Devon and Nate about placing Holden in the hotel division. But when she brought up the idea to Nate in the park, he said he didn't trust Holden. Meanwhile, Holden blamed Damian for their firing and rejected the offer to join Winters. He walked away, saying it was time for a clean break. Later, Holden opened up to Audra at Crimson Lights, while Amy comforted Damian and encouraged him to make peace with Holden. At the tack house, a doctor examined Cole Howard and noticed concerning chest sounds. He suspected pneumonia and sent Cole to the hospital for further tests. Victoria Newman accompanied him, and Claire Newman later shared the update with Kyle. She worried about her father's health, but Kyle comforted her with kind words. When Claire asked how his meeting with Victor went, Kyle said it was fine and promised to share more details later.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Damian fired and Holden gets intriguing new job
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. When The Young and the Restless' Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and Holden (Nathan Owens) arrived in Genoa City, it seemed as if the two were a packaged deal. After they dropped the charade of Holden pretending to be Damian, it was revealed that Damian was a CEO working for Aristotle Dumas, and Holden was Damian's right-hand man. Additionally, Damian and Holden were best friends. Fast forward to the present, and the dynamic between the duo has become rather complex. Damian has slowly been trying to repair a relationship with his mother, while getting to know Nate (Sean Dominic) as his brother and trying to earn some trust with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James). Holden, on the other hand, has more or less felt like an outsider in Genoa City, with no one willing to give him the benefit of the doubt outside of Claire (Hayley Erin). Although he has a romantic history with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and would like to at least be her friend, she's been rather prickly and dismissive of him. Despite Holden's borderline pariah status, he's remained in town, knowing he's at least working as Damian's number two for Aristotle. Sadly, in The Young and the Restless episode airing on June 2, Damian gets the news from Aristotle's assistant that he's been fired ahead of Aristotle's secret French bash. While Damin doesn't seem terribly bothered by the news since he just accepted a job offer at Winters, he is concerned about what this now means for Holden. Even though Lily got Damian a job at Winters, she hasn't extended that same courtesy to Holden, so it looks like he'll be unemployed. But loyal to his friend, Damian tries to get Holden a new role at a new company in Genoa City. After sharing the firing news with Lily, Audra and Nate, Damian gets the idea to pitch Holden to Audra. Damian surmises that Holden could be a great employee for Audra at her new business, Vibrante. Of course, Audra gets a bit cagey about the idea. She even makes excuses why Holden won't be a good fit. However, Damian counters that Holden is a great employee. With all that being said, we have a feeling that Holden has no intention of returning to LA, at least not in the foreseeable future. The suave and vesper-drinking newcomer probably plans to stick around in Genoa City, but he will need a new job. If we had to guess, he'll land at one of three companies. First, we can't rule out the possibility that Audra will reluctantly offer Holden a position at Vibrante. While she obviously has some residual feelings for him and rather not work so closely together, we think she'll come to realize that if she pushes too hard against the idea, Lily and Nate may grow to suspect she doesn't want to partner with him because they still share a romantic connection she's trying to deny. So, rather than give Lily more ammunition not to trust her, Audra will bite the bullet and hire Holden. If Holden doesn't wind up at Vibrante, our next best guess is Newman Enterprises. Holden may not know a ton about Aristotle, but he's worked at Aristotle's companies. Therefore, Victor (Eric Braeden) may see Holden as an asset in this bubbling war with the mystery tycoon. Plus, with a glowing recommendation from Claire, Victor may be willing to give Holden a trial run. It should also be noted that we've always gotten the vibe that Holden is willing to play in those grey areas, and with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) no longer working for The Mustache, he may be able to use Holden's unique abilities. Now, if Holden doesn't find a home at Vibrante or Newman Enterprises, then perhaps Holden will take his talents to Chancellor with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). It bears repeating that Nikki could truly use some more assistance in the executive suite at the huge corporation. Yes, she has Claire working for her, but a company this size likely needs some more executive experience, especially with Aristotle lurking about to take the business. Again, Claire could put in a good word for Holden with her grandmother. Wherever Holden ends up, we can't wait to see his next act. He's new on the CBS soap, but he's intriguing to watch. New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. Episodes become available to stream on Paramount Plus the next day.

City of Eau Claire plans $48.3 million in capital improvement projects for 2026
EAU CLAIRE—The City of Eau Claire is asking for public feedback on its five-year capital improvement, which contains projects totaling approximately $266 million. 'There will be a public discussion on June 9 and also June 23,' said Eau Claire Finance Director Kitzie Winters. 'The City Council is scheduled to adopt the budget on June 24.' The Capital Improvement Plan, which plans out capital expenditures from 2026-2030, was presented to the council last week. It contains a plan to spend approximately $266 million over the next five years, including $48.3 million in 2026. Nearly a quarter of that would go to the Land, Building, and Equipment Fund. 'The capital improvement plan is exactly what it sounds like,' Winters said. 'It's a plan. We do call it a budget, but it is a plan for our assets or repairs that are over $5,000.' She differentiated it from the annual operating budget which are funds that go toward services and staff. 'The Capital Improvement Plan is for those larger repairs or acquisitions of land or creation of a trail or a park, or repair of a street,' she said. 'We do attempt to secure grants from the federal and state level. We use our tax dollars there that we retain as a city. Then we look toward any general fund usage, but it's half-funded from issuing general obligation debt.' In terms of the city striving to manage its debt, Winters said, 'We have an existing policy to keep that in a respectable limit. We're very conscious of the effect on the debt issuance and how that translates into the tax bills. Our targets are always very close to what we're paying off. We're not attempting to increase the tax bill. We're trying to keep that level.' She said that big things which would have the most impact on taxpayers would be needing to build a new fire station or addressing an issue with a large parking structure. Winters did note that there are plans for either remodel or construct a new fire station in 2027 and that the city council is still discussing the parking structure across from City Hall for 2029. 'It is reaching the end of its useful life to repair,' she said. '[Replacing it] would be over $30 million. It'll cost between $2 million to $3 million for demolition. We're evaluating how much parking will be needed. We're looking at scaling it down to maybe a two-level parking deck. It would cost around $14 million.'
