Picture shows damage to bridge's railing as police issue statement on M62 closure
Police have issued a statement after a lorry 'collided with a railing' on a bridge over the M62.
Cheshire Constabulary believes there are no injuries.
A spokesperson for the police force said: "At 3am on Friday, June 13, police were called to reports of a collision on A49, Winwick Road, Warrington.

"The collision involved a lorry which had collided with the railings on the bridge over the M62.
"The M62 is currently closed in both directions as a result, with a diversion up and over the junction.
"The closure is expected to stay in place for several hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
"There are not believed to be reports of any injuries."
