Panthers QB Bryce Young on fans being unable to attend training camp: 'It sucks'

Panthers QB Bryce Young on fans being unable to attend training camp: 'It sucks' Bryce Young is going to miss you guys during the summer. On Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers announced that they'll be unable to host fans for training camp in both 2025 and 2026 due to the construction of their new indoor practice facility. Young, who spoke with reporters this afternoon following another session of voluntary workouts, was asked about the news. "That part is super unfortunate," the third-year quarterback replied. "For me and for the entire team, we love that fan interaction. The support of the community, the environment—that's really one of the highlights of the year for us, to have that daily interaction. So that's something we're definitely gonna miss. Yeah, it sucks. "Obviously, it's what we had to do, indoor-wise. There's logistics and stuff behind it. We're definitely gonna miss that daily interaction with the fans and the community." The work, which is slated to be completed in phases, is taking place at the team's practice fields across from Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers, after nearly 30 summers at Wofford College, moved the site of their training camp to Charlotte in 2024. But hey, at least Bryce and the Panthers will get to see everyone on Saturday, Aug. 2—when the team hosts Fan Fest at the stadium. Follow @ThePanthersWire on Twitter/X for more Panthers content.
