Five-time Women's Champion returns on WWE SmackDown after months
Image via WWE A former WWE Women's Champion made her surprising return to WWE television programming after an extended break. WWE Universe was set to see a tag team showdown in the women's division. One side was the compelling faction, The Secret Service, led by Chelsea Green, who were set to battle their arch nemesis, Zelina Vega. The tensions had been brewing for weeks and escalated when Vega defeated Green and took away the WWE Women's United States Championship. Which former WWE Women's Champion was revealed to be Zelina Vega's partner? Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, alongside Alba Fyre, came down to the ring first for their scheduled tag team match against Zelina Vega and her mystery ally. The WWE Women's US Champion came out and pointed towards the entrance curtain. The match started off at a fast pace and saw both sides going at each other. Moreover, the fans were thrilled when Bliss came into the ring and displayed her exceptional in-ring acumen. Bliss and Vega displayed an excellent team effort against Green and Niven as the match progressed. During the final moments of the showdown, Zelina Vega neutralized Piper Niven with a Meteora outside the ring. Alexa Bliss dispatched Chelsea Green inside the ring with a Sister Abigail DDT and picked up the win for her team. However, that was not the last of Bliss that the fans saw on SmackDown this week. After Charlotte Flair left the ring following the disrespect shown by fans, she was seen approaching her car to leave for the airport. Just then, Alexa Bliss walked up to her wanting to have a chat. With Alexa Bliss back on SmackDown and hinting at something to do with Charlotte Flair, it will be interesting to watch as the weeks progress. WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2: John Cena Captures 17th Career World Title
Rana Atef Early Monday, WWE introduced the second and final night of the two-night WrestleMania 41. The event was hosted at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The night was opened with the WWE Women's World Heavyweight Championship contest between the Champion Iyo Sky, 2025 Women's Elimination Chamber winner Bianca Blair, and Rhea Ripley which ended with Sky retaining her title in an excellent women's match. Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre introduced an impressive street fight contest. During the night, a new Intercontinental Champion was crowned as Dominik Mysterio won the fatal 4-way match for the title, while, Becky Lynch made a surprising return to capture Bailey's spot as Lyra Valkyria's partner in the Women's Tag Team title match. Lynch and Valkyria defeated the champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to capture the titles. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry made a surprising appearance as Randy Orton's mysterious opponent. The main event was the WWE Championship match between the Champion Cody Rhodes and the veteran John Cena, who is participating in his final WrestleMania main event before retirement. Cena defeated Rhodes after the assistance of Travis Scott. The title is the 17th career world title for Cena, breaking Ric Flair record. Bianca Belair Wins 2025 Women's Elimination Chamber, Earns Title Match At WrestleMania 41
Bianca Belair is going to WWE WrestleMania 41, as she earned a title shot at WWE Elimination Chamber. WWE Elimination Chamber kicked off with the Women's Elimination Chamber. Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Naomi, and Roxanne Perez battled it out for a shot at the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania 41. Before the match officially started, Jade Cargill returned and attacked Naomi. Following the brutal beatdown, Naomi was loaded onto a stretcher. It was announced that she was no longer able to compete. Bianca Belair went on to win the Women's Elimination Chamber by last eliminating Liv Morgan to earn a title shot at WWE WrestleMania 41. Order of elimination: Naomi via injury Bayley via Liv Morgan Roxanne Perez via Alexa Bliss Alexa Bliss via Liv Morgan Liv Morgan via Bianca Belair With the win, Bianca Belair earned a title match at WWE WrestleMania 41. She will challenge either reigning champion Rhea Ripley or IYO SKY. SKY will challenge Ripley for the title on the March 1st episode of WWE RAW. Ripley came out after Belair's win and confronted her. As the bell rings, Jade Cargill's music hits! Cargill power walks to the ring before the cage door closes. Morgan is scared out of her mind. Cargill Lunnges at Naomi. Cargill beats the crap out of Naomi. Naomi tries to run away. Cargill boots Naomi into one of the pods. Belair is losing her mind, banging on the pod, trying to stop her friends from fighting. Cargill slams the cage door on Naomi's head. Cargill leaves. Naomi is taken out on a stretcher, so she has been eliminated. Morgan mocks Belair. Belair is released from her pod but isn't interested in the match. Belair immediately tries to leave the cage to check on Naomi. Morgan attacks Belair from behind. Belair fires back but misses the superstar press. Morgan lands a head kick for a near fall. Belair surprises Morgan with a spinebuster. Superstar press by Belair. Roxanne Perez is released from her pod next. Perez sends Belair flying with a rana. After a series of reversals, Perez Russian leg sweeps Belair into the cage. Morgan catches Perez with a dropkick for a near fall. Bayley is released for her pod next. Perez and Bayley fight in Bayley's pod. Bayley slams Perez's head into the pod repeatedly. Perez gets Bayley-to-Belly'd into the cage. Belair and Bayley square up. Bayley sunset flip bombs Belair into the turnbuckle. Belair kicks out. Diving elbow by Bayley. Belair kicks out. Bayley goes up top. Perez cuts Bayley off and powerbombs her on the platform. Frog splash by Perez. Bayley kicks out. Alexa Bliss is released from her pod. Morgan eats a flurry of strikes from Bliss. Bliss choke pushes Perez. Bayley rolls up Bliss. Bliss kicks out. Bliss obliterates Bayley with a right hand. Perez traps Bayley in a crossface. Bayley rolls all the way to the cage. Bayley rubs Perez's hands on the cage to break the hold. Perez drops Bayley with a stunner on the second rope. Perez tries a double jump moonsault, but Bayley gets her knees up. After a series of reversals, Bayley dumps Perez out to the platform. Morgan comes charging in and hits Oblivion. Morgan pins Bayley. Morgan climbs one of the pods to avoid Belair. Belair follows. After a tug of war with Belair's braid, Belair whips Morgan with her braid. Morgan falls to the platform. Belair dives off the pod and flattens everyone with a crossbody. Morgan's midsection is bleeding from Belair's hairwhip. After another series of reversals, Bliss surprises Perez with Twisted Bliss. Bliss pins Perez. Morgan lands the thee amigos on Belair. Headkick by Morgan. Morgan calls for the 619. Bliss hits Belair with an Abigail DDT. Morgan rolls up Bliss for the pin. Bliss uses Belair's braid to send her into the cage repeatedly. Belair kicks out. Morgan lands a codebreaker. Belair explodes out of the corner and lands a spear. Morgan kicks out. Morgan tries a rana on the platform. Belair blocks it and slams Morgan into the cage and pod repeatedly. She powerbombs Morgan back into the ring. Belair tries a 450, but Morgan gets her knees up. After a series of reversals, Belair counters Oblivion into the KOD for the win. Jade Cargill Returns At WWE Elimination Chamber
Jade Cargill is back, as she returned at WWE Elimination Chamber. Cargill has been absent since November; she was attacked backstage on the November 22nd episode of WWE SmackDown. At the time, she held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Bianca Belair. Naomi later took her place in December. Belair and Naomi retained the titles until Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez beat them on the February 24th episode of WWE RAW. The identity of Cargill's attacker had been a mystery leading into WWE Elimination Chamber. Just as the Women's Elimination Chamber was about to begin, Jade Cargill made her return. She stormed to the ring and viciously attacked Naomi. Cargill slammed Naomi into a pod wall and kicked her through it. Officials came out to separate them, but Cargill continued the beatdown. Cargill then took the chamber door and slammed it onto Naomi. Medical officials came out and loaded Naomi onto a stretcher. They then guided her to the back, and Naomi was deemed unable to compete, so she was eliminated from the match.
