Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has announced the establishment of the non-profit Women in Mining Association, a pioneering initiative aimed at increasing Saudi women's participation in the Kingdom's growing mining sector. The initiative is part of the ministry's broader efforts to support the non-profit sector in both industrial and mining domains, recognizing its vital role in advancing social and economic development. The Women in Mining Association will focus on developing advanced skills among Saudi women, preparing them to meet the evolving needs of the mining industry.
