Chopard Unveils 6 New Watches At 2025 Watches And Wonders

The Chopard L.U.C Quattro with alligator strap Chopard Swiss luxury jewelry and watch brand, Chopard, has released several new men's and women's watches as well as a collection of jewels for the 2025 watches and Wonders Watch fair, which opens Tuesday and runs till April 7. Among the new releases is a 25th anniversary edition of the innovative L.U.C Quattro, two new Alpine Eagle releases and jewelry watches that showcase high-jewelry craftsmanship and materials, combined with high-quality movements. The case is smaller and slimmer (10.4mm) than its L.U.C predecessors, which Chopard says is in line with the latest L.U.C aesthetics. The case features a bassine shape, meaning its base is narrower than its domed, polished bezel. The newly designed case houses a brass dial with a frosted texture and a deep blue color obtained by galvanic treatment. These details are contrasted by rose gold hour markers and hands—including the small seconds and date hands. The power-reserve indicator, previously located at 12 o'clock, has been moved to the movement side and is now visible through the back of the watch. The watch is powered by the hand-wound L.U.C 98.09-L with Chopard Quattro Technology. The Quattro, introduced in 2000, is the first movement powered by four series-coupled barrels stacked in pairs and containing exactly 1.885 meters of springs, Chopard says. This configuration allows an exceptional power reserve of 216 hours (nine days), delivered with constant force to the escapement. The regularity of operation is ensured by a balance oscillating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, a precision allowing it to receive chronometer certification by the COSC. The high-level finishes to the movement earned the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark. The watch is completed with an alligator skin or calf skin strap. The Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 CS Platinum Chopard This is first platinum version in the Alpine Eagle sports watch collection. It is being used for the 41mm XP case, originally designed to house a tourbillon. An integrated bracelet, made from the same 950 platinum as the case, has been redesigned with reshaped lines, a steeper slope and a slimmer clasp. The new watch also has a new proprietary dial color, a gradient blue named 'Shades of Ice.' It's a shade that's paler in the center and deeper around the rim. Chopard says it reflects the 'shimmering beauty of glaciers and Alpine lakes whose reflections transition from transparent to dark in step with changes in light and the passing of time.' The dial center suggests the purity of mountain waters and shifts to an intense blue. The dial texture is the result of the stamped 'eagle's iris' radiating pattern. The watch is powered by the caliber 96.42-L automatic movement, which uses Chopard's 'Twin Technology.' It has a 65-hour power reserve. The Chopard Alpine Eagle 33 Chopard This new Alpine Eagle has a two-tone 33mm case and bracelet crafted in Chopard's proprietary Lucent Steel and yellow gold. It also has 'Vals Grey' dial contrasted with diamond hour markers, which the company says evokes 'the silvery reflections of the quartzite slabs covering the roofs and walls of old alpine houses.' The watch is powered by the Chopard 09.01-C self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The in-house movement consisting of 159 components and with a 20.40mm diameter, is one of the smallest movements to receive COSC- certification, the company said. This new 25-piece limited edition timepiece has a lilac-toned lepidolite dial further adorned with five diamonds that move along the dial in Chopard's unique dancing diamonds motif. The dial is completed with rose gold-colored Roman numerals and hands. The 33mm case is crafted in ethical 18k rose gold. The bezel is lined with diamonds. The watch is powered by Chopard 09.01-C automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The Chopard L'Heure du Diamant Moonphase Chopard This jewelry watch has a poetic complication powered by a small but mighty automatic movement, the 09.02-C. The moonphase is displayed by an aventurine disc that chronicles the moon's rotation with astronomical precision. With a difference of just 57.2 seconds between two lunar cycles, it will take 122 years for the complication to show a one-day discrepancy with the path of the actual moon. Only then it will it need to be adjusted. The dial itself is made of aventurine glass, which gives a starry appearance. Hour and minutes hands are designed as rhodium-plated cones, and hour markers and the moonphase rim are set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The 35.75mm 18k white gold case has a crown made of 18k ethical white gold topped by a briolette-cut diamond. The bezel and lugs are in ethical 18k white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 3.86 carats. The Chopard 09.02-C automatic movement comprises 169 components and has a 42-hour power reserve. The Chopard L'Heure du Diamant Chopard The newest version of the classic jewelry watch has a 26mm-diameter case crafted in ethical 18k white gold, housing a textured mother-of-pearl dial. The dial is surrounded by an ethical 18k white gold bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 2.20 carats. The 18k ethical white gold crown is topped with briolette diamond. The delicate jeweled timepiece is powered by the Chopard 10.01-C mechanical hand-wound movement with a 45-hour power reserve, one of the most compact sizes and thicknesses on the market, Chopard says. Completing the watch is an 18k white gold 'bark-type' bracelet featuring an ergonomic, silky texture. Fine veining gives the bracelet a lifelike appearance, as it endows the gold with a supple, light touch. Chopard L'Heure du Diamant earrings Chopard Chopard's 2025 Watches and Wonders releases ends with an elegant and petite floral jewelry collection featuring ethical 18k white gold and diamonds in proprietary crown settings. All the jewels in the collection are based on a gem-set flower motif created with six pear-shaped diamonds arranged as petals of a flower with more diamonds in the center. The collection consists of a 'Toi & Moi' ring, a bangle bracelet, several earring options and a necklace. Chopard says the company's V-shaped prong settings support the diamonds 'like an invisible lacework base' and enhances the brilliance of the diamonds by maximizing light penetration.
