Seismic activity monitors detected the shake at a 1km depth. Light sleepers and early risers quickly took to social media to report the quake. 'Literally woke up from a dream about an earthquake. I feel vindicated,' one said. Another claimed the tremor made a loud noise, making them wonder if something had hit their home. 'That was such a sudden jolt I was legit confused if something hit the building or not,' they wrote. No injuries have been reported.
