Crowds turned out in force as this iconic community event celebrated its 52nd year.
What began in 1973 as a small local fundraiser has grown into one of the biggest and most beloved days out in the area.

This year's Chieftain, Des Clarke brought energy and humour to the field as he joined in the festivities, including the ever-popular World Haggis Hurling Championship
Throughout the day, visitors were treated to the full Highland Games experience, featuring traditional wrestling and arm wrestling contests, pipe band performances, heavyweight events (the 'heavies') and highland dancing competitions.
