The International Cricket Council (ICC) is set to honour seven cricketing greats by inducting them into its esteemed Hall of Fame on Monday, June 9, 2025. The induction ceremony, part of the 'A Day with the Legends' celebration, will take place just two days ahead of the much-anticipated World Test Championship Final between Australia and South Hall of Fame serves to recognise players who have made a lasting impact on the game of cricket. With 115 members already honoured, this year's addition will see five male and two female cricketers join their ranks. The previous induction was held before the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Final in 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony will begin at 9:00 PM IST on June 9. ICC Chairman Jay Shah highlighted the significance of the honour, stating, 'Inducting these legends is our tribute to those who have profoundly influenced the game. The selection is based solely on merit and their outstanding achievements.'The new inductees will be chosen by a panel consisting of existing Hall of Famers, ICC officials, and media experts. Each inductee will receive a special cap in recognition of their contribution to cricket history.A special segment during the event will feature South Africa captain Temba Bavuma and Australia's Pat Cummins sharing their thoughts ahead of the World Test Championship Live streaming will be available on JioHotstar.
