Birmingham City attacker Worsey joins Burnley on loan
The Clarettes announced the news via a post on their official club website just a short time ago. The 19-year-old is a product of the Birmingham City academy system and she made her senior debut for the club back in November 2021. Since making her maiden appearance for the Blues, Worsey has been able to add another 14 appearances to her tally. Worsey needs regular football to continue her development and Birmingham City have therefore allowed the player to spend the remainder of the campaign in the third tier with Burnley. After joining the Lancashire club, Worsey said 'It feels good to be here and I'm really excited to get going with the girls. 'The Club is going in a really good direction and that's something I wanted to be a part of. 'My goal is to come in, make an impact and score as many goals as I can, with the aim of helping the team gain promotion to the Championship.' Worsey could make her Burnley debut when the club travel to Derby County in the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division this weekend.
